Hey Esturk,

I am in Montreal and I had the same issue,I placed the order with the dealer and they came back saying Jeep would not accept any more orders unless it included the 430n for an extra $1200,I have an iphone 5 so don't need sat nav and was not happy to be forced to spend $1200 I didn't want to,especially after I had taken so long to beat the price down on what I wanted...I called Jeep Canada and they confirmed that when they tried to order the car it was only possible with the 430n radio, not sure if its the same for the US,I see you are in Canada so you will have the same answer I would assume...

I actually leased the car as I was giving a trade of my old JK and TD financial who do the leasing for Jeep where not interested in a lease for the balance, crazy policy.I played two dealers off each other, and they kept dropping the prices but then just by chance I went to a contact who has a leasing company and he beat the dealers best price by $2000,he gets fleet pricing direct from Jeep so might be worth looking into!..and he was not too happy that Jeep where forcing me to take the 430n(he still has to order his cars via a dealer)but gets rebates directly from Jeep, so I played hardball and told them to tell Jeep that I would not take the car, unless they did something on the price,so the leasing company removed the profit on the radio, the dealer removed $200 and Jeep canada gave $250,so I ended up paying less than $500 for the 430n,and I have to say,its a great radio, sat nav is very nice, and the whole radio has a new interface for 2013,the hands free works well,it has a 28 gig harddrive to store music as well as direct bluetooth streaming(which you can also get with the standard radio and the USB direct play also) but with the 430n you get the track info display as well as being able to navigate the entire library menus.it also makes the sirius xm radio very nice to navigate by having favorites and even a replay feature, plus the screen just makes the whole interior look more upmarket, and I am very happy with the deal..at the end of the day Jeep ,as with ALL car companies have horrible customer service and horrible dealership experiences(I have delt with range rover, mercedes,Ferrari,Porsche etc and they are all crap!)..so just focus on what you want, play everyone off everyone else and hopefully you will get what you want...

If you have any questions, feel free to direct message me.

Maybe we will find out more sometime soon. Thanks for the reply Tristan! When I'm ready to order something I know I can get an awesome price, lucky to have found a great dealership to work with.

Thought I'd just in here with some news (not sure if it's new news, but it was news to me so I thought I'd share).

I was at my local dealer trying to put a deal together and was told "the window to order Gecko for 2013 is closed. No more orders."

Yeah, they built the last ones back in mid December.

Worked for me...and now I have a question...

Is it true where it says (Cell G2) -
Quote:
1. Destination Fee is included in Base Invoice and MSRP Prices
If so, my dealer is putting the screws to me...again! Dealer is charging me $995 for "destination". Do I have a way to prove this to the dealer?

Planning to go Saturday and "place my order" for a '13 Rubi.

Yes, but . JUST on the spreadsheed.

Compare to Edmunds.com or some other place that gives invoice pricing. The base and MSRP on the spreadsheet is $995 higher because the destination is already included.

I had the same problem when ordering my 13 rubi
according to the jeep.ca site you can do the build with the base 130 radio which is what i wanted
when the sales person told me that i had to buy a 430 or better i told him about the web site pricing and said guess im gonna buy an fj
the dealer ended up eating the cost of the radio upgrade
still wish i had got the 130 because the 430 is just garbage and i will be upgrading anyway

Pull it and sell it, and use the $ for your upgrade. Many here like the 430 (me included).

Are """"10As"""" still available to order by chance? 10a thread no longer contains info... Might be able to convince my wife to let me have the real rubicon and purchase her a new 10A. Anvil 4 door with matched top, black fender and red seats! *Yeah, we'll see how I end up. Just wondering if it is still possible...

Pat, are these on restriction at all for April? Also, is the Tread Lightly discount good for TWO vehicles per year or just one?

I have a billet dual top JKUR. Spent a few hrs this weekend stowing the HT and installing ST for the 1st time. Couple quick Qs and comments having not owned a Wrangler since '99 or so.

1. The HT was REALLY easy to store w/ a Quadratec rolling rack I bought from a neighbor. It attaches to the back of the top and holds it perfectly balanced upright.
Bestop 42805-01 - Bestop HOSS™ Hardtop & Door Carrier Combo* for 07-13 Jeep® Wrangler & Wrangler Unlimited JK - Quadratec

2. Holy hell, the new sunrider ST is tight. It was a bit chilly out (50s F) and it'd been stored as shipped since Sept.

3. Does anyone know if I'll damage the ST by NOT removing the sail panels when I put it down? Assuming I can eventually get the front latches in without removing the sails (with hopeful stretching) I'd much rather wrestle the latches than the sails.

4. Haven't installed the windows yet, may not all summer.

Heya - I too dumped the HT last week when warm weather hit MA, mostly because i installed a hoist (harken hoister) in my barn [which is great, btw]. The premium sunrider is nice but hella tight. I've put it on both ways (clips first, clips last) and it's just as tough no matter which way you do it. The way i ended up getting it on last night was by hooking just the edge of the rear corners, clipping the front and then going back to the rear and finishing the clips off.

the top will allegedly loosen with use (and obviously heat) so I'm leaving it up to stretch it out. It is, frankly, ridiculous the way it ships.

And just a note - i had ZERO success getting the side curtains and the back window on. Side curtains wouldnt stretch to fit in the door channel and the back curtain -- the zipper simply wouldnt zip around the corner -- too tight. I'm hoping to get all those items on when the temps climb above 70 again, but until then I'm just running without the plastic windows.

May will be the last month for dealers to order 2013 Wrangler/Wrangler Unlimited for stock/dealer inventory. You can place a sold order thru the first week of June.

2014 Wrangler is a carry over. Nothing new other than some colors and a few special editions.

That is the main reason I just picked up my 2013. I was afraid I couldn't get Crush.
