Thanks for the hard work....I added a few =if functions for the options that change price and everything balanced nicely to dealer invoice. Sitting on a plane for a few hours...I'll know what I'll order by the time I land

Yep, that will happen. Those trust fund girls in cali will eat it up. And that one gal who has been replacing trannies with her dad since age 6. She will be the deal.

Thanks. Using Adobe Photoshop. I actually went to school for design about a decade ago before switching life gears, and still mess around a little on the computer.

Disclaimer: the original shot was a VERY glossy black Jeep. The real commando will not be anywhere near as reflective.

2013 Unlimited Sahara
Auto trans
Max tow
Leather
Dual top
430n
Connectivity Group
Heated seats
Air
Remote start

Total w/ 6% FL tax and tag/title/dealer fee out the door is $38165

Thoughts?

Thanks in advance
I ordered mine yesterday and supposedly @ 2% below invoice, yet it looks like you got an even better deal? I was told 2% below is as low as I could get for 2013 order not being an actual Chrysler employee. hmm...

2013 Unlimited Sahara Dozer
Auto trans
Max tow pkg
Leather
Dual top
Color match top
430n
Connectivity Group
Heated seats
Auto A/C temp
Remote start
Side Air Bags
Trac-Lok LSD

Total w/ 6% State tax and tag/title/dealer fee out the door is $39,430.94

Maybe colored top, side air bags and LSD is the difference? If not you actually got an even better, really good deal.

I guess I'll throw my mockups into the ring too. I'm stuck between Commando and Dune. I can only imagine that Dune with the saddle interior would look awesome.

I completely agree that this blue is the hardest to match! Not my choice anyway.

Yours are damn good for paintshop pro! It looks like you got some reflections and shadow in yours too- it really depends on which source photo you use. Try messing around with a photo of a high-gloss black Jeep and you'll get some cool reflections.

Can't speak for Void but I have a Sahara Tan layer then did a select on the main color and did a duplicate. Set to Leiner Light and did a replace color. messed with hue, saturation and lightness until i found something that came close to the crop layer of the swatch i had above it. the selecting took the most time so it didn't mess with the color of anything but the body.

not an expert just love playing

I have spent the last 3 months looking for a Sahara Tan Rubi and have come up empty. Almost settled on a Sport in Tan but kept backing out. Then heard of Dune and thought, that is the ticket. NOW? going for commando green. Not just because I can get it 3 months earlier either. I think it just looks as about as authentic as you can get. And I can still order all my military looking aftermarket parts in OD instead of Tan and it still will make me happy. CAN"T WAIT to be in the Commando waiting room.

Cool! I only wish I was this proficient at Excel.
One question. I did not see Leather Seat option listed for the Sport Unlimited or Sport S Unlimited. Was this an oversight or is this not an available option???

Basically the same. I just very carefully select only the painted portion of a body (using the polygonal lasso tool in photoshop) and then I mess with hue/saturation, color balance, channels, etc. while looking at a swatch from the file someone posted on the other page.

The computer preserves all the reflections and changes in gradation from the original photo- it's nothing we're doing that requires any real artistic skill or anything LOL

I think Gecko's success is why they are going with bolder colors this year. The colors seems silly but they work. Like someone says in this thread, that is what jeep is about.

I think the Rugged Brown looks great on a more luxury vehicle, but not on a Wrangler. Maybe on the Sahara, though. It's going to be a tough choice between Commando and Dune. I'm not usually in love with tans, but I think there's enough orange tones in it to make it a damn fine color.

I know that there has been a change to the muffler. But what about that funky exhaust spin towards the front where you need to space out the piping to make room for your drive shaft if you want to lift it. Will this problem still be there?

BTW, what size lift and tires is on that mockup? That's a really great look for what I'm going for with this build.

Hi, I am a newbie to the forums, I saw the comments about ordering.
I had a 2 door no ac/soft top TJ and decided to get a "family car" when pregnant since we moved where it gets to be 115 in the Summer.
Anyway as a grad gift for my masters- I am getting my Jeep (unlimited) back!
I was going to order a 2012 Rubicon with exactly what I wanted (no NAV, no heated seats, or auto temp control bs) to keep it within price range.
Any advice for ordering one through the dealer? Can I still get 2012- or do I have to get 2013? I am guessing the price will be a pretty hefty difference with the 10th anniversary Rubicons this year. ANY ADVICE OR TIPS WOULD BE MORE THAN APPRECIATED!
Thanks!
