Im assuming its going to be a option that will start on a 13 model and stay around. Maybe like finally getting a factory installed Hemi Option in the Wrangler.
I heard that they are really expanding the Toledo plant for a 2013 retool.

Am I close here Pat?

It's nothing above. This is fun for me though!

All I can tell you is you are all way off. Just stay tuned.

Back to 2013 info... On 2 door rubis if you want the premium soft top you will have to select the tinted windows as well. That was a question that came up that I couldn't find the post.

The first post was updated today. Only news relevant to me: TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING DISPLAY (XGM) only comes with connectivity group. Not a big deal but I didn't get connectivity and I was sort of excited for the new feature. Oh well- that's what I get for ordering early!

@Pat,

Any idea about the new instrumentation? Any special stitching on the rubicon seats?
Thanks

My vote is on a factory truck version! Hopefully whatever the anniversary version is it comes in commando

No tinted on 2 door rubis. You will have to select that option and the premium soft top option.

Just stay tuned, and it's really not about 13s, when I posted it was for the op to know this will be the place to be.
How could it be a factory truck version if it's not about the 13s? How could it be factory anything if it's not about 13s?

Pat,
The 2013 flyers say something about new instrumentation and lighted console. Any word on this new instrumentation? Im guessing since it has the new tire pressure system it might have the center screen between the gauges lik the JGC.

Looking to an earlier clue...

A new body style like a truck version would likely not be just for one year and their recent truck mod dealer option sold out lightening fast. It's just a guess, this is fun

Help.......
Question #1---What do the Sport S wheels look like for the 2013? Saw the Rubicon and Sahara wheels, but what about the Sport S. Would it be safe to say they are like the Sahara wheels but in a smaller diameter?

Question #2---The base price for a 2012 Sport S Unlimited is $25,545 .... correct? The base price for a 2013 Sport S Unlimited is $28,095 .... correct? That is a $2505 increase in price. Is this correct? Seems like a lot.

Help....thank you.

From what I understand the 2013 Sport S wheels will be the same as the 2012 Sport S wheels. And don't look at the MSRP. From what I saw the MSRP had a pretty good spike, but the invoice gap was smaller.

Thanks for prompt response. There is a 2012 here that is equipped the way I would build. #1 problem I have is deciding if I should part with my TJ and #2 problem I have is wondering if I should go for a 12 (money savings) or 13 (rock lobster).

If I could have found a 12 equipped how I would built it I would've have hesitated to buy it. For some reason the only Rubis I could find were either completely decked out, or completely base plus auto. At the same time, make sure you like the color you get. You have to look at it everyday.

Not at all. My post is not product related like most of you are thinking. My whole reason was to tell the newbie that was happy with the info here to stick around. I would tell everyone the same thing, stick around. Don't get your 13 and then stop coming to this forum. That's all. But getting everyone salivating was fun! My only advice, STICK AROUND!

I don't know if that is Pat's surprise, but these are coming out again with third row seating. Not sure what model year, '13 or '14. No US diesels. 8 speed is coming at some point.

Actually it will be 14. 13s stay the same and 2013 GC production ends in January. 2014s will start hitting lots in march of 13. Diesel and 8 speed will be coming then as well as a minor refresh and the 8.4 touch screen that is currently in the 300s chargers, and the new dart. Grand wagoneer also in 14.

2014 Grand Cherokee is launching early, Q1 2013. Wagoneer is launching late, around Q1 2014.

No disrespect but I'm 99.9% sure he won't know what I'm talking about. At this point neither does Milous.
