Look inside the center console. Open armrest..both sections...it is deep down in there.

Also...(and don't take this the wrong way, I'm not trying to be a smart ass)....read the owners manual. I didn't at first, but I ended up going back and looking at it. A lot of cool stuff is explained.

Center console, lower well, front side about 3-4 inches from the top... its barely visible.

On the navigation unit, flip up the lower cover on the right side where it says "Pull".. there's a USB port there as well.

That's where mine are on my 10A.

I am familiar with the one on the rbz, as I have that in my 2011 durango. Also have a USB in the console on that.

I quadruple- checked the console. No USB in it.

Grrrr.

Hi

I am not sure but it is not that sport lacks several things like some usb ports and subwoofer and such.

We have to ask the Sahara and Rubicon 2014 owners if they have usb ports

You do not have it. The USB port is about 1" above the power outlet.

Thanks for confirming where it should be. Looks like the dealer will be fixing this for me. I wonder does anyone with the connectivity group in a 2014 have the USB here?

I think it is only available on the " connectivity pkg ". It's packaged with Blue Tooth and a few other electronic options. I have it on my 13 in the console like the other posters have said.

IIRC, our Sahara came with a long paper tag/strip sticking out of the console USB port, to show you where it is.

Yeah, no tag like that. So it looks like it will be going back for the dealer to address. Sigh. I guess I will spend the next day looking everything over again

the USB on my wife's '13 was really hard to find...as a matter of fact I was looking at it and didn't see it. Run your fingers along all inside surfaces of the glove box. I do remember that it is on the front wall closest to the dashboard. I'd go out and look, but my wife is gone for the weekend.

Funny, I just found this pic and there it is...right above the power point.

Yeah, I can feel a slight difference in the plastic there but there is NOT a USB. I found a parts list for the build in the glove box.. The remote USB was listed with no part number and *none* instead.

I'm wondering if it were a glitch since the RBZ (430) was new to the sport this model year. I'm sure I could run my own, but since its brand new, I'm letting them get dirty.

The RBZ comes with its own USB port on the face of the HU.

If you ordered the Connectivity package, you should have one inside the center console.

Sounds like a factory screw up....

Basically, unless Jeep has changed up their items, if you order the Connectivity package AND an RBZ, you should have TWO USB ports. One in the center console, and one on the RBZ.

Yup, that's exactly what I thought. As you mention above- looks like a factory screw up. Hope that's the only one..

But whole I am at it, is the spare supposed to come with a locking lug nut? All I have ab3 standard lug nuts with a spot of rust on each.

No locking lugs by default. They are a dealer option as far as I know. Some dealerships add them due to thefts on the lot.

The mopar locks are $60 and made by mcguard. You can by the mcguard for about $20

My remote port in my 13 is inside the center console storage box.

Also, my dealer isn't very Jeep savoy and won't know if there really is supposed to be a USB port in the center counsel, im going to have to show proof that it's supposed to be there.... Where can i find something to show her that it is supposed to be there?

sorry to say this, but i am glad that I am not alone. If they cant/wont do anything, i will escalate to Jeep and see whats up. worst case, i will buy a cable and run it myself - but the parts that are needed for the mounting, etc is what i would like to have rather than just cutting a hole for the wire.

It's already been escalated

I sent a few emails last night and had one reply stating it would be looked into tomorrow morning.

Thanks Pat! I will still be reporting to my dealer. It will be interesting to see how they handle it from their end.

On the navigation unit, flip up the lower cover on the right side where it says "Pull".. there's a USB port there. Its in the owners manual for the 430 Nav. If you call IAMJEEP they will send you manuals. It is a cover and looks like a button right above the AUX plug in.

There is no issue with locating the USB on the head unit itself. It's with the remote USB port that is supposed to be in the console. It's not there

Sounds like a 430/Connectivity packaging issue with 3 of you in this boat so far.
