2014 - need tire carrier selection advice

I am about to put my 1984 CJ-7 Laredo up for sale. It has served me well since I bought it new in Anchorage. However, not wanting to spend the time to update it, I am looking to purchase a 2014 Rubicon when available. I am configuring the vehicle to including both Jeep and aftermarket parts. I have a good idea of what the final is going to be, however I am stuck on the tire carrier. Many manufactures make these, but don’t know what mounting system is best for off-road: bumper mounted, using factory / replacement hinges, or chassis mounted. I want to be able to carry two 5 gallon jerry cans as well. Any suggestions?

I am a big LOD fan and they have a rear bumper replacement with tire carrier that will also hold two Jerry cans. You can check out their website for pics of it.
Keep on Wheeling!
