Interesting that the vin on this is el167 and is after mine (el165 ) and many others on here and We are still in D. I guess sold orders don't have any priority. Does this sound like I'm bitching?

Wow, I have never seen a real-life Rubicon with the red switches; not even a 10A with red interior. I thought they only existed on the prototype interior used for the photo shoots.

I would recommend getting another rep to confirm your build for accuracy.

Good luck!
When I got my 10A, I asked about the X and its features. The dealer pulled up a form and he told me I could order the red interior. It was late in the model year, so he was off of his "It's limited edition" pitch on the 10A and on to his "They are a new model in high demand" pitch on the X, and therefore wouldn't negotiate much on the X.

The more Jeeps (any model) the merrier. If Jeep wanted a really wanted to offer an exclusive model, they would have provided an engine upgrade. Even a 20-30 HP upgrade would have differentiated the 10A. It was just a marketing scheme.

I have a Flame Red X scheduled for production this month (October). Was under impression 24J's were opened back up for orders on Sept 11. Delay on production run between order date and actual start is due to the way Chrysler coordinates it's production runs in batches.

Back to specs on vehicles---suspension on X is identical to that of standard Rubicon....

1/2" Height Difference is due to different tire spec. The 10th Anniversary and X are using a different BFG spec which is not used on the standard Rubicon. Besides tires...Bumpers, Hood are differentiators even though they can be bought via Mopar. Pre-packaging of options means they are pretty standard. And besides the differences in badging (10th Anniversary had unique badges) the X and 10th are identical except more colors are now available.

For those of you that can wait...there will be a new bumper package offered later in the year. Bumpers will be mfg'd by Warn.

Any idea on the "time between batches" is? I ordered mine with granite crystal right after the cut-off for that particular color.

We talking a week?.... month?...

If you have details like that you got to spill a little more than "For those that can wait"

I am on trim level now for my X. Hopefully, it gets shipped out before the end of the week. Wishful thinking.

We have 10A springs that provides a factory lift.

Congrats on seeing some movement. What does your sequence number start with? I've been in "D" limbo since I ordered my X on 9/12 (EL165XXX).

Got a text with a video of my X from my salesman today. It made it. Early. Can't wait to get back in town. Ordered 9/11 and at the dealership on 10/11. Got lucky.

But I never for one second would have thought I was buying something uber-exclusive that would only last for a year given that Jeep does special editions like nobody's business.
You are so right.
Buy a Jeep special edition because you like it and you will be happy.
If you buy one for any other reason, you will be disappointed.
IMO, the 10A's and the X's are both really nice. Who cares that they have similarities, unless they overpaid because they believed the marketing hype.

Looks like significant movement of Rubicon X models on waiting thread. A lot of folks went to D1 in last few days. I went D 1 this morning. Now I feel like I'm on the way!

Wow good eye. I didn't even notice. Luckily its not mine! I just picked up my 14 JKUR. I didn't wait for the X. I work at the dealership and figured I'd take a few pics for reference for others. I'll have them look into that fuel door tomorrow.
