2014 special editions?

Does anyone know if/when there will be any 2014 special editions of Wrangler Unlimited? I've searched online and I can't seem to find anything. The dealership acted like they didn't know yet. I'm looking for a Sport/Sahara special edition.

Yeah, but the tires/wheels were weak. I see one everyday, and I'm always disappointed in those.

It absolutely is and according to my dealership, they are saying it will only be available in black. I'm not crazy about those brass accents. I think I would have to have some serious painting or powder coating done to them.

I like what they did with the Sahara wheels (more than the plain chrome look). That would be cool to see on the road

Yeah, as in the weak spot of that edition. And the opposite of tough.
And not strong.

I think the Moabs have the best tire/wheel setup of all models. The silent armors are great off road, dont suck in the rain like the rubis and the rims are dead sexy.

I only ask because they are the same as the Rubicon. It seems an odd comment to make.

I agree that the silent armor is a phenomenal on road tire. It is certainly less aggressive (and IMO less attractive) than the BFGs on the Rubis. OTOH, they are completely silent at 80 mph. They do well on rocks and are light weight. When I purchased the Moab, it was lined up between a Sahara and a Rubicon. I honestly couldn't tell the difference in size. Certainly not the tire for every Jeeper, but great for my purposes.

That^, and the fact that most people will never use the rubis tires to the full extent and the silent armors are a perfect medium. I mean, I've done narly stuff with my stock Sahara tires aired down, And my on road ride is great, so I'm happy. But my tires dont look "tough", so I guess my jeep isn't cool anymore.

The tires may be great, but I'm not a fan of pizza cutters.

That's how they look to me, but are they really thinner or is it the color/tires?

That's a euro version...FYI. By your comments, I'm guessing you've not seen an American Moab in person.

I also watched one languish away at my local dealer- it was a rock lobster, so it hung around a while.

Are the wheels in the pic European? Because those are the ones I saw on both the Moabs.

That's exactly what I want. A Chinese themed Jeep that's $4,500 over MSRP. Ick.

News: Dragon Wrangler: USA reality

They are getting carried away with this crap now.

Yes, they are nice but you have to upgrade the wheels and tires stat or you look like a fool.

Most people upgrade their rims/tires so who cares what comes stock on them.
