Something a little like this:

I waited a weekend before adding the rock sliders...

Half doors. Can't wait to order mine hopefully in the next day or two!

Sliders look great! What kind did you go with? I have the Ace sliders on my mod list.

Yeah. What brand sliders are they? Do they mount to body mounts or just to the tub like factory? I prefer frame/body mounts.

Are you expecting the Rubi X to open this week? I got excited after seeing several links to window stickers posted, but every dealer I have talked to this week have said they didn't know when the X would open for order.

Hi cpgeorge25, I could have sworn you had pictures posted of the gauges showing the updated EVIC information...?

I remember you were concerned because it looked like one of the digits was burnt out...? Was this not you?

For what it's worth, we have Rubi rails and ACE sliders. We love them!

Rubi rails cover the pinch seam nicely and the ACE sliders are really strong and a great step. Only wish the finish would have lasted a little longer.

But I'm hoping to run the same setup on my jeep... if hydro EVER COMES OUT!

It was aug2011. The first picture of the digital speedo had a line through it. Then Pat posted a new one and it was perfect.

Yeah, I heard the finish on the sliders is lousy. I may have to sand and paint or bed liner before I mount them. I agree, they look great with the rubi rails

Dealers must be crazy since someone on here already has one in his driveway.

That wasn't me. I posted picture of the exterior and a side shot of the interior. I wish I had the updated gauges. I did see some pictures of the up dated dash just before I post my pictures and I was hoping mine would look like them but I'm still very happy with mine.

Hopefully next week I'll buy some rock sliders with a step since I'm hight deficient lol. Maybe smittybilt or rugged ridge? Any advice?

Yeah, I wish we would have known first.

Think about hitting the Rubi rails with whatever you do to the sliders. I HATE that the rails and the sliders have two different finishes. That will be a project for me over the winter; sanding off the rails and sliders and refinishing them. Mike is SO lucky!

Make sure you check out the ACE rock sliders. They are the best!

That is exactly what I've been looking for. I wanted to keep my rubi sliders but add a step and more protection.

The Rubicon X models showing up at dealers are pre-spec allocations. I've looked over the shoulder as a salesperson worked through the available 2014 ordering options and the X package was not there.

I was hoping it would open up soon, but they don't know or won't tell us. Oh well...demand without supply begets supply without demand as the luster of something new fades - something newer and better is bound to come along.

Not surprising considering I've known way more about Jeeps just being on here than every dealer I've talked to... three this week have said it was not available to order yet, but should be soon. They weren't trying to just sell me a 2013 off the lot because they were telling me they could order a 2014 JKUR no problem.

The sliders I installed were some scratch & dent eBay specials. The store had hit them with a liner for demo and then sold them. Package was missing a couple bolts, and they mount to the body, like stock Rubi rails, but they were cheap and should get me down the trail long enough to take care of other mods

So if the Rubicon X is ready out and about why hasn't anyone posted any pictures yet?

We're waiting to see what the real colors look like on real jeeps... but the thought has crossed my mind, "Maybe we should just buy a white one and paint it whatever color we want."

That's what I'm doing although I'm getting a black JKUR and going to have it painted pink. Like this one only with no chrome different bumpers, hood, flares, and top.

Why not just have it wrapped? That way you can change it up whenever you want and it's way cheaper.

I prefer the Kevlar/rhino lined textured paint look and protection against scratches. This was at my work the other day and I just really liked the way it looked painted.

I've used the Google doc made by Thrillhouse (awesome product, greatly appreciated) when I was about to order a JKUR, but will probably be bumping up to an X. Anyone see anything out there with a build sheet that has MSRP/Invoice prices for an X yet?

Wrapping it isn't a bad option - but it's still probably half the price of a paint job and even the BEST wrap materials are only rated for 5 years - beyond that the print can fade and more importantly the adhesive can become a BIG pain to remove.

A quality wrap will run you around $2k or so. A quality paint job i'd say is going to be in the $4-5k range. If you know you want a certain color for as long as you've got the jeep, I'd say paint it.

IIRC, since the Rubi X hasn't been released yet, Pat hasn't had prices to post.
