Hi Pat,

First off, thanks so much for posting this, very helpful. If I wasn't so far away I would definitely order from you.

I am going to trade in my 2011 JK Sport S for a 2014 JK Rubicon and I noticed that the connectivity group is not listed on the Rubicon options, is it now standard? Also, is the max tow package only for the unlimited?

As a complete novice in such matters, would someone please explain to me what this means:

23B no charge
24B $1275($1135)
23S $25790($24959)
24S $27065($26094)

I'm assuming those are all option packages, but I don't know what options are actually included in those packages. Thanks for the help

Connectivity is optional and max tow is for Jeeps with the stock 3.21 rear axle ratio. Max tow changes the axle ratio to a 3.73(needed for max tow capacity). Manual trans Rubicons are standard with a 4.10, automatics are standard with 3.73.

Thanks! So that would mean that people would be taking delivery of newly built [to their specs and not off a lot] 2013's sometime in early July [give or take]? Thanks again!

Pat - do any of the axle choices provide better gas mileage than the others? Thx

I guess technically the 3.21 is better. Real world driving for me with any of the 3 choices 3.21/3.73/4.10, only the 4.10 seems to take a little hit. Again, this is just my opinion based on how I drive. I'd search the forum here, there are others that have posted real world numbers.

Even for someone who has intentions of buying a '14, this thread has been very entertaining. Thanks Pat.

*It's nice to see the new EVIC is now standard. The is useful information that it has.
*I'm happy Commando Green is gone woohoo.
*Let's just say I'm not surprised Rugged Brown has already made an exit.
*I'm happy Plum Crazy is delayed because my wife was already talking about trading in her '13 for it.
*I'm surprised the Rubi 10A bumpers and hood didn't make it into '14 standard items or at least '14 Rubi standard items.
*I'm really curious about a previous poster's question about a "spice" colored hardtop he accidently saw on the Jeep site temporarily.

It hasn't been used on any Chrysler vehicles since the 2006 model year. At that time it was called "Atlantic Blue" (used on 2006 minivans, 2005 Ram & Dakota, 2005 Liberty, 2004 Durango to name a few).

Well colors are getting narrowed down quickly behind Anvil. Was hoping Hydro was a nice bright blue.

Copperhead is a Pearl flake color but does anyone have an idea on Amp'd? Will it be a flat like 2013 Dozer and Crush or have some flake to it?

Long Time Coming

I ordered 2014 JKUR yesterday. I got Anvil w/ 3 piece black hardtop, heated seats, standard transmission. I see in this thread that tinted windows are an option... Is this different than last year? I thought w/ Rubicon/hardtop the tints were included. Do I need to alter my order to add tints as an option?

I think I go a good deal $36,140 OTD including 9.25% sales tax.

I plan to, just thought it was interesting. Worst salesman I ever had as well. Knew nothing about the Wrangler. We just went there to check out the Anvil color it was the closest one...still 2.5 hours away in Madison WI. I liked the color but wife hated it. Looks like we will have a bright silver and a billet silver. Billet is a nice Raider color anyway .
