Do any mats come with it if you don't get the slush mats? And if so, do they still give you the originals if you ordered the slush mats?

Mine came with carpeted floor mats. I was told that if it had the slush mats they would be in a bag in the back or something I think? Could be wrong.

Carpet Mats are what comes with the Jeep . You have to either buy the Slush Mats or ask for them to be thrown in with your deal.. some dealers will and some won't. I don't know if they throw in both when you buy the slush mats.

I'm just trying to find out if the 14's slush mats fit in the 13's.

Bought a New 13 last night. picking it up today at 5.
Called the dealer last night and asked him to throw in a set of slush mats and he agreed.

I will still be ordering a set of Tread Lightly floor liners and cargo liner in the next few weeks though. Had them on my last jeep and they are Great!

yes they did not change anything that would effect matts.

That's what I was wondering.. they look like they provide more coverage and I know they are suppose to have a new retention system.

Was just curious if this would matter placing them on the floor boards in a 13

You and me both! Schwarz is a fine color, but I'd prefer Granite Crystal.

If it wasn't for waiting on the Rubicon X package, I would order Anvil today. I like it well enough, but if I grew tired of anvil and wanted Granite, I'd just sand it down a bit and paint it granite - the anvil is close enough to primer anyway.

Easy Sucker Punch.

If it makes you feel any better, along with two AMPds, there were TWO granites sitting there with paint holds on them last night.

Getting closer...

Congrats, madeleinedale!

Did you already lift it, or, uh... nevermind....

AA - what is a 'paint hold'? Special QA inspection for a new color?

Can't say exactly. New colors come down the line with "Paint Hold" written up on them in the computer. We put them off to the side and I'm assuming all the important people come down and look it over before giving it their approval.

All the big important stuff happens on day shift so I don't get to see what they do, or who does it. That's why I work nights.

Thanks! Sounds like a QA thing, then. Hopefully that's a good sign.

LOL - more stuff gets done on nights anyway, since the bigwigs aren't around to get in the way! (Spent 4 years on 3rd shift as a maintenence tech in a semiconductor fab - we got as much or more done as 1st & 2nd shift, and with 2/3 the people that they had...)
