I live literally less than a mile from Yark... While the do have (by far) the largest inventory of wranglers, I would never give them a penny of my money. By far the worst customer service I've ever encountered.

I drive through their lot, in my new 14 Anvil that i bought at their competitor, a coupe times a weeks just to see what they got in new. I'll keep a eye out for new colors and PM you when/if I see one.

Went Jeep shopping today. Saw many in the anvil finish. Up to this point, all I've seen are pics on the internet, which always seemed to give off a blueish/gray look to me. I must say, in person it looked more gray than it does in pictures. I really, really liked it.

On the contrary... Pat did say in the confirmed colors thread that he HEARD it will resemble very close to Inca gold from one of his insiders

Correct, it would have been easy for Archer to say it looks like Inca Gold if it did. Hope he chimes in on this.

I was building KJs then. That's how I missed it.

Trying to compare colors on a monitor is difficult. I learned this when trying to describe Anvil. What's one color on my monitor may have a lighter, completely different shade on yours. Then add in that these colors seem to change depending on the lighting makes trying to describe them even more difficult.

I will say that on my monitor, AMPd is *NOT* Inca Gold

Thanks again for your input AA. Agree its difficult to tell some colors on a monitor. Dune was that for me, always looks good to me in photos but in person its mewh. I will say that Inca Gold(i drive by one on my way home most days) looks the same in person as on my monitor.

Normally I would agree that what someone heard doesn't mean much. However since this person has seen it, driven a wrangler in AMP'd and taken pictures, ill go with that. If only Manley had more time to chat, I could get him to spill the product plan for the next 10 years

This persons exact words when describing AMP'd was a cross between inca gold and prowler yellow. I'm not saying AA is wrong either.

I'm trying to get real pics to post sooner than later.

Actually the concept pics that you posted are freakishly close to AMP'd. Obviously AMP'd is a metallic, but other than that extremely close.

Pat just chimed in.... i believe him. Archer also knows his stuff as well. I don't mean to disappoint you but it is what it is... if you dont like the color simply pick another one or try finding a leftover dozer or even dune. That is if your so dead set on a yellowish wrangler

I think it is copperhead that is similar to mango tango. Amp'd is a yellowish, brownish, 24carot gold, orangy, dunish, peanut butter, metallic, mustard color, so I hear. Sounds exactly like what I want.

Agreed, I really like it in person as well. Looked at a 2014 Sahara in Anvil, almost like a dull "primer" finish. Also saw a 2013 Rubi in Anvil and it looked great with the Rubi rims.

Waiting to see what the granite looks like in person....

Been lurking reading posts getting ready to purchase my first painted hardtop 4-door JK, waiting for what else, Granite to be released. Was at a dealership and thought I'd post a granite pic from a Cherokee. Overcast day. Granite is on the right, another cool color called Steel is on the left. Hope the links work. Enjoy reading everyone's posts and thanks for all the great info. -D
