So for all of you, may I suggest ordering a brochure for another model and you might get lucky and get the $1000 TDM incentive that I received. I called the 877IAMJEEP and asked for the inventive department to confirm I could use this on any Chrysler vehicle and they said yes

Good luck, hopefully will be the proud owner of a new 2014 JKUR as of this weekend.
I ordered a brochure a couple of weeks hoping for the same thing. How long did it take for you to get your brochure and incentive?

Quick Question, I could have sworn that with a rubicon you can add the body color fenders but when i do it online it forces me to add the body color hardtop. Does it require the body color hardtop to have body colored fenders?

Ive been looking at a bunch of mango tangos and i think they look great with the body colored fenders and black top! I know it doesnt make much sense for off roading but when i do go ill just cover them with painters tape or plastidip them to protect em!

As I was browsing our corporate discounts section, I stumbled across a company called Beneplace Auto Buying Service (powered by TrueCar).

It already has the 2014 Jeep Wrangler in its system with the 'build your own vehicle' up and running. It doesn't however have the Rubicon X or Freedom Edition loaded in it yet. Plus it only shows the basic 6 colors that I think the dealers have access to right now.

Thanks for the scan. Another automatic, was hoping for a standard (in the Auto vs Manual war I come down on the standard side). Oh well. I do see they discounted the black hard top $400 from the usual $995, I would presume because of the Premium Top being part of the X package. Visually confirms What Pat from Fields said, as if anyone doubted...

Enjoy!! I'm making a sort of X, got the hood and fuel door being added by dealer.

So they let you use a Grand Cherokee incentive on a Wrangler? I wouldn't have guessed you could use an incentive on a different model Jeep product.

I hate to ask a question a second time, but is this really true? I was planning on ordering my Rubi with painted flares (yes, they scratch, but I like 'em painted) but I definitely do not want the painted hardtop.

Yes painted flares require a painted top.

It's cheaper in some cases to find em used or paint some aftermarket ones.

Fwiw A painted top does not require painted flares though.

My '14 is my first brand new vehicle I ever bought but I think jeep does do some stupid shit. Like why they never close silver(billet), white or black- but all other colors seem to have a limited run. And with options.. What the heck do 17" wheels/tires have to do with power locks? So why do they bundle it? I wanted the 430 radio and was lucky that it was available for the sport in 14 (yes I could've done the ebay thing but didn't want to).

I know they aren't the only ones doing this bit I still think some things just don't make sense

Six hours has got to be the longest time between posts on this thread so far. Damn wish I had more info.

Oh wait I do! I was told today allocation will open on the 9th unofficially. Meaning allocation won't be announced until the 10th but the new colors should be available to order on the 9th.

Yes, it's true. If you want the painted flares on a Rubi you have to get the body-colored hardtop. Maybe you should consider a Sahara because it comes with painted flares and you have the option of a body-colored hardtop or black hardtop.

Good news Pat. Hoping that we get to see the new brochure and web info on the 2014 in early Sept, and hopefully with some nice pictures of the Copperhead and Amp'd.

I have my deal cut and ready to order when Copperhead and Amp'd open. Hopefully I will have enough info to go for the Amp'd:

JKUS
24S
Connectivity Group
Max Tow
Dual Top
Anti-Spin
Tubular Side Steps
Uconnect 430
Alpine Sound
Sirius
Supplemental Front Side Air Bags
Mopar Slush Mats

Should be getting at $750 below invoice + taxes. No additional dealer charges or fees.

I have a Sahara JKU, and I want more off-road capability. The flare thing is not enough to have me change my mind, but I am happy to b*$&h about it.

You can always order the painted (or unpainted, in this case) flares from the dealer with your order. They can paint them up and install them for you.

That is what I worked out with mine.

W00t! Though I may have trouble convincing the dealer that yes, they really are there (I went to see one on Monday and they told me copperhead doesn't exist).

What, exactly, is a "slush mat"?

Is that a fancy-shmancy word for rubber floor mats?

Yea it's the mats that have the tire tracks on them. Look pretty cool but basically yes it's just a rubber mat, pretty thick though not a cheap thin junk one

SWEET! I am a little hesitant to contact dealers again. I keep giving them these dates when granite will be available and they just look at me like "you believe everything you read on the internet?" I feel like the boy crying wolf.

Are we 100% certain that granite is going to open on the week of the 9th Pat?

Thanks!

Ha! My dealer said the same thing. TO which I replied- has any of my intel been wrong? He had to admit it was usually spot on.

The other day when he called, he greeted me with "Bonjour" in reference to that TV commercial where the girl goes on the date with the guy from the internet that claims to be French!

Am I greedy to ask if the X will be part of this official release?
