Unlimited Sport, Anvil, Connectivity, Anti-Spin, Max Tow, 1/2 doors.
I think it's scheduled for next allocation. I think price is around $500-$600, but nothing has been posted yet.

If Rescue Green returned, I would be at the dealer ordering one right now, instead of reading this thread.

I may just do this then, you could easily get that on the street even if i wanted to upgrade, much easier to sell than the stock wheels/tires.

You think the Rubi X will be in next allocation? Really want to see what the cost would look like before I bite on my sport.

+1 just to give it a bit of a rugged look until my wallet can afford a lift, sleeve, gussets,rims/tires, rear tire carrier . Will be nice to have a jeep w/ black rims too so i dont have to plastidip them imediately will easily get back 80-90% of the "upgrade" on the street.

very interesting, now my only wish is that Jeep offers 4.10's in sports. That would be soooo awesome!

Well I guess we can agree to disagree then, because I can't think of another "special edition" that ended up becoming the regular edition the very next model year. I've had sports cars, pickups, SUVs, etc... I've never seen this before.

You want to know why "muscle cars" that were $3,500 new are now selling for six figures? It's because once they made something unique for a model year they never made it again. Ever. Same thing could be said for a few 50s-70s 4x4s that are now collecting high resale.

Just called Crosstown Chrysler in Edmonton Canada. Granite color is available.

Couldn't order yet, as No Prices are listed (Just show up as $0 on his computer), but at least Granite was selectable for a color option for people wondering.

It's good to see Jeep finally catching onto to the black wheel craze and not saving them for special editions. Any chance black wheels will be available for Rubicon?

Yeah, will need to agree to disagree, because the body kits of 1980s -early 90s Camaros Z28s and Trans Ams were on the next base models. Except for the engine, a Trans Am GTA could be had the next year for peanuts as a regular TA. You did not invest in a convertable last year1978 Caddy or Anniversary Vett did you? I think your perception of the past is filtered by rose colored glasses. It is only the engine options that make the price differences with the muscle cars of the past, rarely is it the "special edition" unless you are talking COPO or a Shelby. Hemi Cuda Convertables are rare, and expensive today, because not that many folks ordered them, not because the factory made them rare by design or a special edition. The rest of the special editions were attempts to use up extra parts from the year before, like the California Specials.

Happy to see this tread approaching 600 posts, but the information is getting harder and harder to navigate.

Pat, do you have any ETA's on the additional color options, or any intel on future options/colors that have not been mentioned (for 2014 JKUR)?

I will be placing my 2014 JKUR order today around 3PM PDT. Thanks again for all of your support!

I called and talked with the dealer in a small town just east of here today. I bought an 08 JK from him and he's a good guy, very laid back. After telling him I wanted to order he told me that they wouldn't start ordering until late June or early July. I had to convince him to just try and he was surprised it was open. Then after telling him what I wanted he wants to check with his Chrysler rep to make sure he can really order and "it just doesn't sit in the system."

I like this guy and would like to give the small town dealer the business but it's weird that all of us on this forum are better informed than many of our local dealers. Pat, thank you for that!

Now I'm very intrested in the tire/wheel option for the Sport. That would be very nice!

Well just took a trip down to the dealer to talk final #'s and pick up some parts I ordered for my TJ.

He has a glitch in the system on the Sport S when you add Dual Tops. It adds the Dual Top price and then adds another $886 dollars for a hardtop. He said it must be for a painted top but I told him I was 99.9% sure that isn't the case on the Sport. Only Sahara and Rubicon get painted tops.

He said he couldn't remove so he couldn't work final #'s until this is solved....sigh. I told him I was waiting for the new tire package that will be available soon for the Sport S and he just looked at me puzzled

I talked to one of the bigger dealers here in Austin. He could not believe all the info I had, and did not even know that copperhead was a color this year. He wanted to order me a Commando Green that I was looking for and didn't believe me when I told him it was not available. LOL Pat is the MAN!

The way I figure, you're better off waiting a week or 2 before ordering. Doesn't seem like all the information is making it to the dealerships which is leading to a lot of angry people on here when a new option becomes available.

Pat loves Jeeps and cares about Jeeps. These other dealers have lots of other brands and models of vehicles to keep track of. It would be nice for them all to know everything instantly, but I think that is unrealistic.

We used to have a Jeep stand alone dealer here, but they were bought up and brought into a mega-dealers line up. The salesmen and everyone else at the old shop knew all about Jeeps, loved them and lived them. I sadly don't think you will see much of that anymore at a dealership, Pat is a dieing breed.

It is a glitch, however there will be a credit. Same as last year.
