It's really more of a data entry issue and the fact that we go thru it every year. Last year was the same for the same issues. All the info is out, sure there are special editions we don't have specifics on, options like the upgraded tires that won't be available for a month or so to order and obviously we have to deal with the staggered paint release every year.

It no longer bothers me only because I finally have gotten use to it.

Nice. Would you guess it would have to incude 3.73 gears also.

I like that the Sports are getting some love. I'd love to see them get the 4.10 option.

Pat- I didn't mean any disrespect to you. What I meant is that not all the dealers are as awesome as you are with being able to access information and disseminate to the masses. So people who are rushing to get orders in today are becoming upset about features they hear about on this forum when their dealer doesn't know about it or offer it to them. Just seems prudent to wait for all the info before rushing to make a purchase and being mad later.

Couldn't order yet, as No Prices are listed (Just show up as $0 on his computer), but at least Granite was selectable for a color option for people wondering.
Can anyone in the U.S. confirm if Granite is available like it apparently is for our Canadian Jeepers? Pat?

I felt no disrespect, if I did you'd know I'm Irish and I don't really drink and diplomacy is not one of my strengths!

My point is not all the info is ever going to be out there. Every time I think I am caught up on all the options, special editions or colors something new pops up. All any of us can do is get a Jeep, get the top and doors off and enjoy the hell out of it.

Granite Crystal is going to be a bad motherf*er....

that's what I'm waiting on. Was jonesing on the Rugged Brown, but that Granite Crystal... should be called battleship gray.

OOHH-WEE, with black rims, BFG ATs, Black Hard Top, 2" suspension lift, leather, nav, MOPAR off road front/rear bumpers, red LEDs inside the cabin to make it look like hunt for red october, rock rails, black fuel cover door and rear lamp guards, cold air intake... uhh, excuse me, I need to go to the bathroom

Piece of cake!
Here is a google doc that you can make a copy of and have at! If you're not on google, you can download it and use in excel.

Let me know if you notice any errors.

I'm just a little bit upset.

I'm super happy with my 2013 Sahara.....but....I have a feeling there are going to be some sweet factory 2014's rolling off the line.....especially the Rubi's with the X package, and Sport's with black Moab's and KM's.

I'm already impressed with the fact the Sport wheels will be coming in mineral gray instead of 1991'ish painted sparkle silver.

My dad always told me growing up "There will always be another car available, and there will always be one that you think is nicer than what you've got. Buy what you want and enjoy it." I've found out over the years (48 now, have owned easily 20+ cars) that he's 100% right.

Who will sell me some black wheels with 32" tires? lol

Still happy with my Crush, but I sure would have liked different factory wheels and upgraded EVIC.

Grass is always (Commando) greener!

Granite crystal is closer to what I was hoping Anvil to be, but the updated floor mat retention system (oooh!!!!) isn't enough to give me '14 envy.

Max Tow = $395
Quadratec Premium 2" Receiver Hitch with Wiring Kit & Jeep® Logo Plug for 07-13 Jeep® Wrangler & Wrangler Unlimited JK - Quadratec = $79.95

Not having to install it may be worth 300 bucks, you must decide that for yourself.

Thanks for the info! How hard are these things to install? It looks like 4 bolts and a wiring harness. Is it seriously that simple?

I went no towing group on my 2013 order for this reason.

Anti sway comes standard on all 2013's, and more than likely on the 2014. You can see it listed in the "Standard Features" on any sticker for the 13s.

That was precisely my concern. I assumed the anti-sway programming only came with the Max Tow Package. Ya'll are saving me money left and right...a round of beers on me!

Package (BNT) - Trailer Sway Damping is standard on ALL 2014 models per Pat's Standard Equipment PDF.

I've not done it, but the install pdfs makes it look pretty simple.

My favorite option is the dual tops. I run hard top during the winter, soft top otherwise. The new premium top is nice!

Did the same with my LJ, although I sold the OEM soft top and ran a Rampage frameless.

Looks good otherwise!

Just my .02, since you asked!

Thank you raizyr, scipio337, and MCDavis! I will hold off on the dual tops for now--I plan to get a BesTop eventually. Maybe a bikini.

What ratio does the Rubicon come with when you get the Max Tow Package? The Sport gets the 3.73 included, so if the Rubi gets the 4.10 included, it is less than a $300 difference. More like $100 which could be worth it in the labor/time cost as well as knowing it is installed to factory specs and will be on Chrysler's dime if something was not done right that leads to problems down the road.(although problems with hitch installs are admittedly pretty low I am sure)

Speaking of dual tops, what am I missing?
If Black 3pc top is $995 and Premium Soft top is $400, Why are they $2185 when combined in a package?

Black 3 Piece Hardtop $995($886)
Premium Black Sunrider Soft Top $400($356)
Dual Top Group N/A with C package $2185($1945)

I asked the same question when I ordered my 13, EZ. The Premium number is the upgrade from a standard soft top (as is the hardtop price). Since you already deleted the soft top to get the hard top, you pay full price to add the premium soft top into the dual top package.

Of course there is always going to be something better each year....and being that I have a Sahara and wanted AT tires (exactly what I wanted), the new mineral gray or black wheels for the Sport (even with Rubi tires) don't really impact me...but I still think it is a pretty sweet option.

The only thing I'm envious of is the color options (so far).

My favorite JK colors have been:
Sahara Tan
Winter Chill
Mango Tango
Dozer
Natural Green Pearl
Dark Charcoal Pearl
Red Rock Crystal Pearl

I'm already liking Copperhead, Amp'd, and especially Granite. Granite is the new Dark Charcoal Pearl and Copperhead reminds me of Mango Tango or Red Rock.

Of the colors available when I ordered, Billet was my favorite at the time...but Billet isn't my favorite JK color. I actually despise silver vehicles, and if was going to end up the grey/silver family, I wanted something like Granite. Luckily, Billet is actually a dark gray that only looks silver because of all the flake in it.

According to the bottom of post #1...

AHQ MAX TOW PACKAGE
Includes: 3.73 REAR AXLE RATIO (DME)
CLASS II RECEIVER HITCH (XFN)
TRAILER TOW W/4-PIN CONNECTOR WIRING (XFU)

I'd have to upgrade to the 4.10 ratio anyway so I'm not saving too much here...
