Premium Black Sunrider Soft Top $400($356)
Dual Top Group N/A with C package $2185($1945)
I would say the first two prices are increases over the standard soft top, not the absolute cost of the option.

Max Tow on a 4 door Rubi has been, and is still, one of the biggest rip-offs that Jeep has had going. For all of your hard earned cash, all you get a hitch and wire harness. You can order that from Q-tec for $90 delivered...and get a cool Jeep receiver cover for free. Install of the hitch is 4 bolts. The wire harness is like 4 screws for the tail-light. Simple...

Shame on Jeep for that one....

Thank you, wise one! What else should I steer clear of?

I'd have to upgrade to the 4.10 ratio anyway so I'm not saving too much here...

If the ratio upgrade for an auto is not included, I fully concur.

For right now, the gear ratio isn't upgraded on the auto....so you have to pay for 4.10's, and you are still charged the max tow price for the hitch and harness.

Jeep has been pretty screwy with their axle ratio pricing ever since the NAG-1 tranny hit. Axle ratio upgrades used to be $50...even when the 2012's first hit. At times, they were free for some unknown reason on dealer orders. Then they went to $95, now $195. For a small time, you had the choice of 4.10's or 3.73's (on the autos) for the same price on the Rubi auto (so the max tow pricing wasn't quite as bad for the autos)...but that was awhile ago.

Now, they are just trying to stick it to you.

Did the cost of different gear ratio really quadruple in 2 year Jeep? It isn't like it costs any more money to install them when being built.

Max tow on the Rubicon only gets the hitch and harness on the '13. You still have to add 4.10 separately for the auto and is now $295. 4.10 is standard on Rubi 6 speed manual though.

If you stay 32-33" then I would think hard on the 3.73. I drove some fancied up demo's that weren't bad at all with 35" and 3.73. I got 4.10 myself, and max tow I didn't want.

Order to get exactly what you want and you will not regret the wait. I spent 2 months deciding and it is costing me in unwanted options, and a huge 10A upgrade. I will be very happy though. It makes Jeep #3.

for you guys that have been through this before, what's the typical order-to-deliver time frame?

I've never ordered at the start of a model year, so I don't know if that effects the time frame, but my 2013 JKUR was ordered on 3/18 and delivered on 4/18.

I'm with you on the Copperhead. We have to wait 2 months for it to become available, and another 2 months for delivery! Absolutely brutal.

It is seriously that easy. I think I used a 18 mm a year ago and still remember it was that easy.

Just wanted to follow up. I placed my order just now without any issues. All of Pat's prices were spot on except for my dealer's base model price was $10 higher. NBD.

Interesting, my dealer said all my prices were spot on (Not sure how I got them he said) but he was exactly $10 off too. Other than the hardtop dual top issue.

Yes I saw it on a RAM the other day while visiting my local Jeep dealer. The salesman walked me over to it and then showed it to me in the shade too. My wife was hesitant before seeing it and was immediately won over. It's an amazing color and will look great with the black fenders and top. It's very difficult not knowing when it will be available. Thank God for Pat keeping us informed!

Hey guys, sorry if this has already been covered, but has there been any word on whether or not Anvil will be a limited time release? I am not completely sold on any of the other colors that are arriving later in the year, which is pushing me closer to lubing the deal on Anvil......sorry 10A owners

Okay...here's my question...

What are the chances that a dealer will sell a 2014 for this price? I kinda like the anvil color...
Anyone else have any thoughts on this? I'm I dreaming?

Pat, you said the black wheel/rubi tire option would be available in the "next allocation"; when does that translate to? In time to mod my order, or is it too late already?

Thanks for keeping us up with this!

Just had my roommate price mine out for me if I were to order today (added bonus he's also my salesman)

2014 JKU Sport S Anvil
Manual trans
connectivity group
430 radio with premium sound
Max tow package
Hard top

$31 and some change EP....want to wait for the black wheel/tire package though and to find out if hydro blue will suck or not...

Can I get heated cloth seats in it? Or is the only way to add the overly priced leather seats to get them heated?

Either way I'm excited to get this ordered as soon as possible...this will be my Friday Wrangler (not my first Jeep - that's the Compass Rallye I'm driving now)

It will probably be too late since your current order will already be scheduled.

Idk, it would be so cool if they opened copperhead p early but everything I'm reading here and elsewhere it's going to be a August-September opening I'm just hoping they don't push it to next year, or even later in the year

If thats the case then im gonna have to decide on another color. i'm really interested in it but i've already had a hard time not picking up a 2013 model... im really antsy and ready to get one of these badboys already. a even later date will just make me buy one of the other colors at that point.

keep in mind i just sold a month ago a 400hp AWD monster and another import that can go topless as well. needless to say im ready for a new toy to play with and pass my time with.

First off, I want to thank everyone on here for the help. There is a crap ton of useful info on here. We couldn't find an Anvil 10a in a reasonable distance (under 350 miles or so) so we placed our 2014 order yesterday morning.

2014 JKU Rubicon
Anvil with Saddle leather
Auto
Hardtop
Remote start

Pretty basic for a Rubicon but I don't see us needing anything more. Time to wait, and wait, and wait.....
Thanks again
