Just curious: I ordered a white 2-door X on opening day (11th), and only put a couple options on it (trailer tow, auto, black hard top, and auto temp). I got a VIN on the 13th, but am still in "D". Could scheduling be based on how many Wranglers the dealer sells? I bought from a local dealer that doesn't sell very many of them per year, and am getting worried this won't be built until November now.

Is there an order window? If i want to place an order now does it get submitted right away? I thought there is a cutoff or time frame each month? Thanks

I guess since you posted here in the 2014 thread, the best idea that could be offered would be to sell it, and buy a new 2014 Wrangler.

I realize it's all a matter of taste but the thing I like best about the X are the bumpers.

I agree it was the reason I ordered a X. The X package contains everything I would have ordered anyway plus I get the hood and bumpers so for me it was a no brainer.

Any additional information for the Willys edition? Will it be available as JKU? I'm following along for my father.

Ordered a Rubi X last week, at what stage can I not change the color? I am having "anvil remorse" and possible thinking of going to white...

You can Change up to D-Status. Or if D1, SOMETIMES, they can change it but it usually requires a station move back to D.

That was cool post. I think the amp'd looks like gold. Metallic gold. I think the Copperhead looks like burnt orange too. It's nice to see the comparison. I like the copperhead but am happier with the granite

I was told the factory will not accept color changes past C status due to the factory being at full capacity. I have tried 3 times this year to get a color changed and I was told no all 3 times.

I couldn't even get a painted top added to an order in D status.

I spent 5 years at UT in Austin............and I know burnt orange when I see it. Those copperhead photos are nothing like burnt orange. Amp'd looks exactly like burnt orange (when I tilt my laptop screen way back)

You need your monitor fixed...or your eyes checked - Copperhead is way closer to the UT color - more so than the Notre Dame Gold that is AMP'd

Amp'd will be close enough to impress my fellow 'horns at the tailgate parties. If I bring the beer they will compliment me on the color. However, as none of us (except Archer) have seen one in person, I'm not going to order it until I have seen one in person. I like Notre Dame too.

I'll have more pics of Copperhead, Granite and Hydro posted later today. Our media guy is editing them and will have them to me in a bit.

So does Polar need to be ordered on top of a Sport, Sport S, or Sahara?

The work you do means so much to so many. It is hard to say just how many Jeep Wranglers are sold as a result of your professionalism.

Internet Opinion: We have a UT alumnus here, he says Copperhead all the way! But agreed with your tailgate analogy. I mean we'll never really get school specific colors, so to each his own right?

Fair enough. Burnt orange comes in many variations.............so anything between Inca Gold and Copperhead will qualify.

I'm glad they brought back the Anvil from the '13 10th Anniversary. I can't wait to see one of the new Dragon editions in person.

Here you go, and you can go to this thread to see a Polar in Hyrdro Blue, Saharas in Granite and Copperhead.
