Yea, looks great, can't wait for mine to show up at dealer. Already buying mods daily but not too much to upgrade. Have my winch with all the goodies ready to install! Gave up the trip to dealer, looks like that strange blue is just a lighting camera issue.

I don't see the 'flat grey'. I've always seen a bluish-grey color. Absolutely love my anvil .

Here is what I see at the dealer, actually looks a little darker on the lot. The brochures and jeep website don't show the colors anything like they really are in person. Still trying to figure out what makes it look light blue like the second pic.

I could see the resemblance to the brute trash cans, but they aren't primer gray.. I've been using a lot of primer gray recently and had parts drying on the driveway near the jeep.. There is a big difference between the jeep and the parts.

I will primer up a piece of wood and lean it against the fender of the jeep for side by side comparison

ok if you want to get technical.. there is a clearcoat on top of the paint. there is no shine, you can easily tell the difference between anvil and granite.

No doubt. They are two noticeably different colors. Agreed that there is no sparkle in Anvil as it is not metallic. My point is the 'grey' description of anvil.. It really look smoothing like primer/battleship grey.

I like the anvil color when I've seen it in person. If I had to describe the color to someone who had never seen it before I would tell them it is a light blueish grey.

We saw it as battleship grey and were hooked.... We literally walked past it on our way for an appointment with our dealer to order a billet JKU.

Here is a pic of a board painted primer gray and clear coated. I see a tint of blue- kind of like the old gunmetal blue color

I didn't mean to start any arguments. I just do not understand what jeep is doing on their website. I personally have seen the three colors of grey. The billet, is too light for me. The anvil, slightly darker, is not quite dark enough for me and I seen the granite on a charger and it has a purple tint in the sun, might be due to all of the metal flake in the paint......any way, none look like these taken directly from the website. I went with the Anvil but I can tell you the Granite is much darker than the Jeep website shows. I am still pissed they did not offer the Rubi X in copperhead but as we all know Jeep color charts are Black, White, Red or Silver! I can also assure you that the Anvil is not nearly as dark as the Granite.

I was another person who didn't like how anvil looked based on all the pics that looked blue. I had to see one in person on the lot at a local dealer an then I fell in love with the color. I was ready to order a billet JK but went with Anvil. I see it as battleship grey and that's how I describe it to people when they ask.

Granite is closer to charcoal, right? Pics on here make it look close to black.

Great choice. The anvil blows the other two away. They are just shades of gray. Boring! The anvil is nice. I saw 2014 rubicon x in anvil parked by biz., could not help looking it over. The color is really nice and love how it changes with the sun. Good luck with yours!

The granite I saw on the challenger/charger was really dark. For some reason in the sun it had a purple tint but way too much metal flake for my taste. Looks nothing like the color on the jeep website or the picks above I took directly from the website. The granite is definitely darker than the other two. It's more like this:

I saw a granite Sahara today, looked great, I'm a billet person myself. The sun was at high noon and as I walked up to it I noticed a slight purple hue. As soon as I changed my looking angle it went away and was back to the granite grey. I think the metallic in the paint at just the right angle creates a prism effect and slightly makes the spot the sun is hitting. Hope this helps

Well to be honest, I've rarely seen my jeep another color. Even when in direct sunlight I still see a bit of blue or even a slight purple- never primer gray. The angle of view really lends to that . This is the color that my jeep looks like 95+% of the time. Just not so dark when it's brighter out.

Even with different lighting. There is a significant between the two colors in the pic I posted. So if the lighting makes the anvil look different, why doesn't it make the primer gray sample look different. They both are clearcoated.

Interesting...

So they took a Sahara, added the former optional 7 spoke wheels, some stainless steel door sill guards,a chrome fuel cap cover, and called it a special edition?

Come on Chrysler...

I guess there is only 199 of them....and I wonder if Silver Ticket is really Billet?

let's sell them to the Frenchies, we'll say it's a special edition
