Me too. Prestige or Chapman?

I love the Market Value Adjustment of $4000 that Chapman adds to some of theirs.

Actually, those prices were quoted from a dealer in AZ, by email today.
Went to Chapman in Henderson yesterday.
The other Chapman and Prestige are next.
We will see. Will pick one if reasonable.

Let me know how it goes. I've been to all three, but never got to the bargaining stage. Maybe we can convince Pat that he needs a vacation in Vegas and he can bring some Wranglers along with him.

All three of them add dealer options tallying anywhere from $2,000 up to ~$15,000 (dune JKUR at Chapman-Sahara).

So far, I think the least of the three evils is the Chapman in Henderson. I've spoken briefly with Rick, Jaron and Kipp and they seem like decent guys. Not sure if they would drop all the dealer added crap and go for below invoice without a fight, but you never know. I'm thinking of ordering a '14 from them, but don't want to be the guinea pig!

Chapman-Sahara was a joke. The guy told me that the Market Value adjustment was because of "special options" on the JKU I was looking at. When I said all of that was on the sticker and that I couldn't find the special options he was talking about, he said it was because it was such a hot selling item...

I second Pat coming to town! With Wranglers. If he opened a dealership here, the others would fold.
I had an appointment with Rick, when I got there, he pushed me off on Jaron. Said he had a 5 Hr. meeting...That's what I called and set up an appointment to avoid!
Called and spoke to him today, said he would call back shortly, never did.
I'm going to try one last call tomorrow.

Sheesh. Here in Atlanta, every dealer has a $599 doc fee.....

So with the options on my 2014 Jku 4dr, (sport w auto, connectivity, Sirius, 430 radio, max tow, anti spin rear diff, dual top). It came to $33970 at invoice. They (reluctantly) agreed to match an Internet quote if $750 under invoice. When I mentioned tread lightly discount, he said he couldn't do that because I am already getting the matched price.

I did negotiate down to $33 which is almost 3% under invoice but wondering of he was supposed to decline me the Chrysler affiliate discount as the starting point?

I tried buying from one of the Vegas dealers and their fees were ridiculous. I asked Prestige about the high Doc Fee and I basically got hung up on. I bought a Pilot in LV two years ago, a totally pleasant experience, not so with Jeeps.

My dealership in texas charged me $125.00 doc fee and $93.00 inventory tax. Thats was it.

That's awesome, congratulations!

It's good to hear you're getting that kind of deal. They have awesome internet prices and I've talked to their Lawrenceville dealership, but have been kind of been waiting for the "catch." Sounds like its just a good deal.

Might be making a road trip after all.

Mikebot, I'm in Huntington Beach. Where did you order? I'm curious about this too. About to order and wondered if I need to put a deposit or what. Hoping there is time before I take delivery for Jeep to send me a $500 rebate So i can apply that too!

Maybe I am just overcautious with dealers but I am making my dealer provide the following:

Full dealer work sheet with all costs including tax, tags and title with any other added fees. Complete out the door price on the dealer form so we have no discrepencies or bartering when it arrives.

Full trade worksheet including all criteria on the trade, i.e. how many miles are acceptable for no change in price and their estimate on current condition including mechanical and cosmetic. It's 2 months until we get the new one and a lot can happen to a vehicle in two months.

I also will be placing a REFUNDABLE $500 deposit in good faith with a receipt stating that the money is completely refundable if the order is not fulfilled or if I decline acceptance.

Did all of these when I ordered my 2007 and it was a completely painless transaction when I sat down with the Finance guy in the back. We both had same paperwork, verified, handed them my bank check and was out the door.

Working with a new dealer this time that I trust much less.

That isn't allowed.....at all (The fee is $75, handled by the dealers).
Affiliate Rewards has a number you can call for situations like that where a dealer is changing the fee.

Congrats! You'll be about 30 minutes from where I live. If you don't mind, can you PM me who you worked with at Hayes? Preston? Chris? Other?

Enjoy that new JK!!!!

Sorry.. I am still a little confused on the wheel upgrade.. are the Rubicon wheels available for the Sport or only the black coated wheels? I really liked the MOAB edition Jeep's wheels so very curious. Thank you for all the helpful info.. I just want to get it right before ordering.

Hey there. I ordered from Ontario Jeep. I would work with Joe Cuberos only. I have been pleased with my buying experience with Joe at Ontario. No cash or signature to place an order and I've already walked away from one order. Tell him Mike sent you!

Yeah i think im getting the deal since they are such a high volume dealership. They even quoted my trade by taking pictures of the vehicle, odometer etc, and told me the least amount he would give me for it without actually driving it. It has been a pretty stress free experience with them!

I'll keep that in mind. Worked a few local dealers, got HB Jeep (Paul, seems like a good dude) to accept my offer, 2% under invoice including AR tread lightly. Still have another dealer trying to go lower too. If things go south I'll check out your guy. Asking for full disclosure of all fees upfront so this ends up being a shenanigans free experience hopefully.

Awesome. If you score a better deal keep me posted and I'll do the same. Let's respect our salesmen by PM-ing actual deal specifics.

Thanks Milos. I think I'm going to stick with Billet. I was considering Anvil.
