Where exactly on the body was this? I'll go check mine later.

On the passenger and driver side near the front wheel area. If you have side steps it may have a bolt there already. Some were worse than others.

Pretty pumped that it is scheduled for build on the first day!!
Hopefully that's true for you, but my dealer said the same thing.. 7/22 - because that's when they are told that the 14's begin. I'd personally wait for the email from jeep before getting too excited

Thanks, I have found a few spots with minor amounts of paint missing underneath.

Mine said the same thing last year. I didn't get mine till almost September. After it was built it sat on various lots and rail yards for weeks before it got to the dealer.

If I wanted to have mine by the end of September, I should probably get it ordered in July right?

You're killing me. There is way too much sunshine out today and I can't get the top off of the Commander.

How cool would it be to get a tour of the jeep plant and watch you jeep go down the line. Anyone know if that's possible?

Factories tend to shy away from that - Its kinda a dangerous place to be plus you may see something you wont like while it's being assembled. Corvette does a general factory tour with a museum delivery for an upcharge.

The stitching is on the console and armrests and chrome steering wheel. Steel front underbelly plate. Two rear hooks, not one. None of this may perform a function with a current perspective...it's about years from now. Keep your 10A in tits condition and it will one day be a classic no matter what is offeted in 14, 15, etc.

i've been in the automobile game for years. I've seen whats held their values well, whats skyrocketed up and what's now on craigslist for $1500 bucks or best offer. 10a models i would say should be able to keep their value that is if someone keeps it stock appearance and doesn't molest it full of mods. i can see it holding good value but to go and say they'll be " rare" in 5 years i highly doubt it.

Just as others said in this thread a page or so back. they're releasing the limited color of Anvil and making it available to anyone who wants one. the hoods and bumpers are available at any dealership with the correct vin number and the person whos willing to spend the money on it. the 10a is a spectacular looking vehicle to say the least, but 5 years from now i don't think these will skyrocket in price. they will maintain value and thats about it.

You could probably wait a little longer. Last year I ordered on July 27 and it was in my driveway Aug 29.

I'm looking to order a 2014 2dr Wrangler Sport with a hard top. Are the windows on the black 3 piece hard top tinted? I saw the option "Deep Tint Sunscreen Window $395($352)" that isn't currently on the jeep.com build a vehicle tool so I wasn't sure if it applied. I'm hoping that it comes tinted already. If not and that's the price they're going with for tinting I will pass on it and have it done at Ziebart for $100 less.

Wow, any pricing on this? The 10A just got a lot less "special".

Have to say I am quite confused about this Rubicon X. Is it in addition to a regular Rubicon? Or are all 2014 Rubicons going to be like this? Or it is a special addition that would become available say middle of2014 for a few months etc.

I can't tell where that hole is located. Can you be more specific? It looks like it got stuck on something.

Unfortunately we are closed for summer shutdown. I won't be able to look for it until Monday. If it's in the plant I'll definitely be bringing it to their attention!

It's an optional package that will be available on the Rubicon and Rubicon Unlimited.

What about Red leather? Will that be an option or no? That seems like the only unique feature left for the 10A.
