I don't believe they mail them with the brochures, I think names are randomly chosen from their mailing lists.

I didn't get one with my brochure either. But, I immediately requested another brochure, and two weeks later the $500 coupon was in the mailbox! I suggest putting in another request.

My wait is over, I know I'm going aftermarket wheels/tires anyway so I will look for a set during my wait to build.

Email shot out to my dealers I've spoken with, first one to do the 2% under invoice and my trade in wins

JKU 24S
Anvil
Hardtop
Max Tow
Anti-Spin
Connectivity Group
Is that out the door at 2% under invoice or 2% under invoice PLUS taxes and fees?

I'm shooting for 2% under invoice plus tax/tag/title. NY can only charge a $75 dollar fee so I am trying to get that waived. Staying vigilant on my trade in to get fair trade in value.

I'm not out to nickle and dime my dealer to death, if I get a good deal and they make some money we will both walk away happy. Then when I come back for service (and I've owned enough Jeeps to know I will), I won't have the worry of a negative buying experience to start it off.

To me a couple $100 bucks left on the table is just not worth it on a 30K vehicle. Some people may disagree...

Can anyone confirm if the 430 RBZ is available on the JKU Rubicon and if it comes standard on the 2014 as mentioned by another member? Or would it be the same upgrade price as on the sport?

RBZ is only available in the Sport. The Sahara and Rubi have the 430N/730N option.

I paid for mine on 6/24, it says its an upgrade from the standard features list from 130, unless they changed it in the past dew days... The Alpine premium sound is standard with all head units, 130, 430, 730 on Rubicons. I had the 130 with premium on my '12 and really liked it. I want the display for a back up cam with the 430. Not a huge fan of the 430, I would have done the 130 if they had a backup camera mirror option.

Some info on the Warn Trail Kit - basically a bag/kit that contains recovery straps, hook clips, and other doo dads that can help you get out of a sticky situation. Not a winch or anything like that.

JKUR w/ manual transmission AND 4.10's

Posted this question on another site but this thread seems to be the definitive place to get accurate info.

Can anyone here confirm that the 2014 JKUR manual tranny will be available with 4.10 gearing. I talked with a jeep salesman yesterday and he said the manual was ONLY available in 3.73. Please tell me he is wrong!!!

The auto was showing the 4.10 as a option.

Thanks.

No offense to any car salesman, but I find a lot of the salesman don't know a thing. The rubicon comes standard with 4.10 on the manuals. If you get an auto then it is 3.73 and you can add the 4.10 option. Just a dumb salesman, don't worry about it

Thank you. I know for a fact this car salesman goes only by what the computer tells him. He is not a Jeep guy OR really a car guy, that I can tell.

In another thread, we complained quite a bit about the rbz not being offered in the Wrangler. I guess Chrysler took notice.

I was a bit surprised to see the RBZ offered as an option on the Sport only....it would make sense for Chrysler to 430 (RBZ) as a standard on the Sahara and Rubi, with an option for the 430N or 730N...but they need to lower the price of the RBZ. In that thread, I thought it should be $400-$500 MSRP.

A lot of people get them off of e-bay for $260-$360.

I was looking at that thread and agree on getting the unit off of eBay. Don't think it's worth the $700 upgrade!

It does make sense, never thought about it... So does the question still stands.
Is the 430 (RBZ) "now" standard on the Rubicon and Sahaha? Sounds like no...

So, is the only difference that the RBZ doesn't have NAV? Everything else is the same?

Well, I wish I could get the 430 RBZ and I was thinking about getting the 430N for $975(invoice). Now I am thinking I may just get the 130 with premium and I can always upgrade the head unit later if I want to add the backup camera. I am having trouble justifying the $975 for the 430N - I don't know.... It looks like I have another few weeks or months to think about it until they release granite I just thought of a great word that rhymes with granite - d--mit - I think that sums up my feelings

For the most part, yes....

430 (rbz) = no nav
430N (rhb) = nav

However, the rbz is (or at least was) made by Mitsubishi, while the rhb is (or at least was) make by Harman Kardon.

With that said, they are basically the same unit, and have the same connections as the 130, which is why it is really easy to buy a Wrangler with a 130, and add a used RBZ or RHB. (The 730N uses a different mic, so it takes more work to install).

I went with a 130 and added a used rbz from e-bay, just so I could have the screen, extra USB port, and hard-drive. I added Lockpick and a rear-view camera and love it.

This was similar to my thought process so I ordered the 130N (no upgrade) and plan to keep my options for navigation as a standalone device.

Any thoughts on how to deal with a trade in and a $500 non-refundable deposit? I went to order today and they told me about the deposit and came in a bit low on the trade value (guaranteed a minimum value). I'm hesitant to give them $500 not knowing what they'll give me for my old car in a couple months. They're going to call me tomorrow because the system wasn't generating the base price - just the price of the add-ons.

Just let them know you will not order or place a deposit until you get all prices in writing including your trade in value and acceptable mileage allowed. If a dealer is not up front with these than its probably not someone you want to deal with.

Funny I'm having the EXACT same issue and it seems like I probably won't be getting my Jeep unfortunately due to it. Sucks since I made an awesome list of mods I wanted to do immediately.
And they didn't even give me a guaranteed minimum....just more uncertainty. They said my value of my trade in would drop about 2500 dollars in the next two months with the 4800 miles I'll add. When I asked if that's it, he said maybe but it could be more. I appreciate all the information that Pat has given us here, but I really expected Field's to be more understanding with the trade in situation at least a little bit.

Just went thru that scenario on Monday. They tried to low ball me on the trade stating future wear and tear, we ended up negotiating a price that we agreed upon at time of delivery of my jeep. We both signed the agreement.
