I wish they would at least release a true sample of AMP'd. I would like to know if it is going to be more towards the yellow or orange. Would sure simplify things if they did.

I compared it with previous years' samples. Looks much closer to orange to me.

It's all "Speculation" here. Why would they release something before the September Embargo?

Screwed up situation is all I can say, and I know most 10A owners don't care as they have their Jeeps and are enjoying them.
Should have gotten the graphics department to come up with a modern Renegade design, and reused it all as such. But to pretty much just change the 10 to a Roman Numeral and keep selling them is not so much a crappy thing, but rather a lazy thing.

Agreed Lazy! But at least it's spec'ed out with real bumpers ect as a Jeep should be. Finally, less shopping thru the Q-tec catalog...

I have been waiting for the Rubicon X to order to come available, following these boards closely.

I don't get the above specs...

why have a 255/70 with 4.10 gears as standard? Am I missing something?

So, is it still possible to custom order a '13 10A?

By the math they're slightly shorter but wider. 265/70 KM2 on the 10A vs the 255/75 standard KM

You might be thinking of the Moab's... I think the Silent Armors are a touch under 32".

Do the math. Those KM2s work out to 31.6"

You are correct-

Just looked this up this morning as I am trying to determine if I want to wait on the Tire / Wheel package that is rumored before I order. Last I read, the 2014 package is Moab wheels and Tires (which I don't like) and they were 245/75/17 (31.5")in 2013 .

The Sport S and Rubi came with 255/75/17 which is right at 32".

Ya my buddies Moab looks like it has black minivan wheels and tires on it from the factory. Make a cool appearance package and leave it completely undertired, I just dont get it from Jeep. Even the Rubi's look a little "off" sitting in the dealers lots. Then the 10a's even shorter, really...

I'd rather give my $$$ to Jeep and roll it into the cost than Discount Tire / Tirerack shopping when you get it home from the dealership.

33's should be the baseline as all the models look very at home with that size "for starters"

As always, just my 2 cents

.

I know some people like them, but those MOAB wheels just scream "Ford Escort" to me for some reason!

Aren't the Moab's wheels the same as the Rubicon without the silver accents? I think they both look like crap.

Yes, it is the same wheel and the upgraded wheel/tire package that is coming has the rubicon tire. The description of the wheel says black Rubicon wheel so I immediately thought it had to be the same wheel used on the Moab. I think a black rubi wheel with the 255/75/17 KMs will look pretty tough.

I agree, black with 255/75/17's will look great.

any word on when it will be available and how much.
also if it will be available only on S package sport or also on base sport?

And while we are on wheels, the freedom edition III says it will have silver sparkle wheels, is that a misprint, I love the mineral grey wheels and find it hard to believe that they would change them and still keep mineral grey grille and bumper inserts.

Does anyone know that actual name of the current Rubi wheels?

I know the old Rubi/Sports S wheels were called Moab's. But with new Rubi wheels, and a Moab edition Wrangler...things could get confusing.

I agree on the MOAB tires looking tiny, you would think for a 43k dollar Jeep they would at least give them some meat. I took mine off at the 8 mile mark and never looked back.

Panther, according to the invoice they are just blacked out Rubi rims no specific name.

Yep, it looks like USAA has 2014 JK info up now. I was hoping to see the new colors listed. Nope!
