I ordered one thinking it was the X model. I'm interested to finally see what one looks like as well.

You ordered one without knowing the details about it?

Here's a link to a pic of one:

Hard Rock in Hydro Blue

The only difference that's been mentioned is that the Hard Rock has the 1/2" lift of the 10A. Based on that, there is some speculation that it might have the same tires as the 10A (the X came with the stock Rubicon tires). We might have to wait until the first Hard Rocks to hit the dealers to know for sure.

Was that the post where you stated you ordered one "thinking" it was the X? Then followed up with, I'm interested to finally see what one looks like.

It doesn't look like you knew the specific details either. "Thinking" its going to the X doesn't mean shit, its your assumption.

Please try again.

I really don't want to argue my point. I wanted a Rubicon X,,, found out after I ordered one they have been re-branded as Hard Rock with very minor changes. Thats good enough for me to know I want one and would love to see what minor changes their talking about.

The running joke in the snowmobile community is: BNG!

Meaning, bold new graphics, since nothing else has changed. Applies to Jeeps too.

Congrats Diver that Hard rock edition looks fantastic!! I just got a Willys last month and am busy getting a few goodies put on, the most exciting is the Soft top from Offroad Heroes! I also bought a grille insert and a fuel door and the Dirty dog two piece sunshade. I somehow have put this stuff on and make it look like it was already there... wife will believe the DD sunshade and top were one order right? LOL.

Well Diver, we both wait cuz I just ordered mine about an hour ago. This thread was one of the last things I looked at before sitting down with the dealer. I started out with a Rubicon but by the time I had all the options in it, I was only 1k away from the HR. What the hell, it's only money and what I don't spend, the government will take anyway.

2015 Jeep Wrangler

I work at a Jeep dealership, but joined this forum because I have a new 2015 Wrangler Hard Rock coming in. Mine should be one of the first to hit the ground. It's scheduled to arrive on the August 1st. I will definitely post picks as I'm just as excited as everyone else.

All the pictures have been red so far, so that's probably a safe assumption.

If you wanted to keep all gecko, you could see if a decal shop could make you new Rubicon stickers with gecko accenting instead of red. Maybe pixeldecals.com?

Here is a picture from TheGibson, where he changed all the red accents, including the hood lettering shadow, to light blue.

Over from the experts on JG.

Though, as with any early info, the final confirmation isn't until the 2015's start to show up on dealer's lots.
