The Jeep 75th Anniversary Edition is coming and is scheduled for release on January 25, 2016.

Sarge Green will release on the same date...

This will be the Grand Poobah of Jeep Special Editions..

Jeep will highlight our American heritage in 2016...

Perhaps with Mojave Sand and Sarge Green...

If these are Special Edition colors, I hope the dealers will be locked out from ordering until we have our orders filled first - prevents ADM.

Chrysler did this with the 2013 10A Rubicon..

Just take as basis what they did for the 70th anniversary edition: unique badges, special seating trim/color and parts off the mopar bin. I would expect the same for the 75th.
They won't invest in new products unless they can carry them over into the JL.

Technically, it is suppose to be Sahara based.

But the early factory evidence is that it has 44 in front, lockers, HR hood, and HR bumpers*. IMHO, that sounds more Rubi based, even with the body color fenders.

Either that, or its a member of the Farkle Family. :D

BTW, with the HR hood, no Golden Eagle decal.

* Subject to correction as the day wears on.

A Rubicon with the Mopar/Fox 2" lift kit, a 5.7L HEMI, Mopar beadlocks, larger tires, beefier skid plates, beefier bumpers/tire carrier, beefier rock rails, fully waterproof interior/dash, etc.........Now which body part do I cut off to pay for it, hmmm.

I totally missed the Los Angeles Auto Show due to business travel and having a ball in Mammoth Lakes.

Was the 75th Anniversary revealed last week?

Does it have a gold sticker with the face of George C. Scott dressed as General George S. Patton on the hood?

I expect nothing less...

Hey, that'd be sweet! So I can lower it 2 inches and put some 20" wheels on it.

I am from L.A. After all.

I hope I still get the gold George C Scott hood sticker, though...

So, essentially it will be Sahara with Dana 44 in front.
I don't know if that true (or visa versa).

There was some confusion yesterday in that it was unknown that there are two versions of the disconnect button; one for rear only (Sahara special editions) and one for front&rear (Rubicons). Its now surmised that the 75th will have the rear only, and with that, probably no 44 in front.

Any "Bronze Accents" would be a deal breaker (for me) Yuck.

I can not recall EVER looking at a vehicle with Bronze accents and saying "Wow, Thank God they put those Bronze Accents on that"

Bronze Accents rank right up there with fake convertible tops IMB

I'm worried they will look Dragonesque.

I would almost bet it will look like crap with bronze accents. sight-unseen, I would take the hardrock any day over the 75th....

Man this sucks big time on the real info. people want to make a decision on a purchase. I still hate the way Jeep runs their vehicles, its like you pay huge bucks then oops sorry we have something better now in the same year.

Put it out there Jeep then mayhbe you'll have happier customers.
I swear I'm done playing games with this company, slightly used for me from now on.
Money in my pocket.

Yeah... Not sure what the big deal is. Order banks should be opening up soon and not a peep out of Jeep..

Hell... at least the Rubicon 10A was socialized at the Los Angeles Auto Show before release in March 2013.

I don't even see any TV comercials about Jeep's 75th Anniversary.

Lame.
