Just recently got a new 2016 Jeep Wrangler Sport. Had the basic radio/cd player in it and was looking to upgrade to some sort of Bluetooth type CD player. Just curious if anybody had upgraded there radio on a 2016 and if so what brand would you recommend? Definitely want the Bluetooth capability if possible. Thanks in advance!

Many options to go - quite a few use the Pioneer NEX line (I have the 8100). The Kenwood series are very good too. Then you have any multitude of options beyond that.

In short - look for what is important to you - bluetooth, navigation, screen size, etc.

One of the first modifications I made, as well. I went with the Pioneer AVH-X4800BS DVD Receiver based on my needs. There are a lot of options out there, my suggestion is to make a list of functionality you need/want/nice to have then start the research. Once you've found a few models, you can weigh the cost vs. need.

I will say the Pioneer has been a great head unit, I have very little to complain about. If I had to, I'd say it's almost impossible to see with the top down on a sunny day. Steering wheel controls mitigate that, but if you don't have those you might find it a bigger drawback.

With or without NAV?

Either way I would suggest visiting local audio shops and using what they have. There is a pretty big difference between how the different brands operate and you are the best one to decide which style you like best.

Alpine, Kenwood, JVC, Pioneer, Sony all make solid stuff... Should be fine with any of those brands

Clarion also makes quality stuff however they are pulling out of North America... Probably get a deal if a local shop carries them
