I had the chance to see and drive a 2017 in the dark and man are those LEDs impressive. While I'm still not a fan of the look 100% I think it's the functionality that matters.

I wasn't able to capture any outside photos showing the throw because the pouring rain didn't make for easy pictures.

I sure hope I find someone that wants to keep their JW Speakers or other after markets and pick up a set of take-offs for my 2015!

I don't know that the market will be flooded. If the 2018 uses different ones then it is just one year production. In either case, I maybe mistaken but my dealer's service guy says they will fit 2007-2017 JK meaning fair amount of demand from current JK owners.

Not sure when they will be available from the dealer parts department, but I've seen estimates of around $600.00 from the dealer. Don't know if they have a heated version, you would think they would.

no pictures with head lamps off, just to get an idea of the looks?

I wouldn't be too quick to buy a take-off set of these until we know if the wiring, plugs, ECU settings, etc are different that models without the LED's. Who knows what FCA might do to make these lights only usable on 2017 models that come with them. You just never know.

It still looks very similar to this one if that one was in a chrome housing. I gave my father in law one of these when I had a set last month that try out on his harley. He absolutely loves them. Not sure how they compare to these but he brags about them everytime I see him. If I was a betting man I would bet that JW is making them but changed the design slightly

Sorry, other than being round, I don't think they are all that similar.

The new Jeep headlights are made by Magna, not JW Speaker.

Let's just say that Magna hasn't been known for making high-end or high-performance lighting in the past.
I won't knock this light until I measure it. Big companies like this are always capable of raising the bar.

Having never driven a jeep or any other vehicle with LED headlights, all I can say is WOW! The headlights and fog lights on my WW are great! Glad I ordered them.

Jeep is celebrating their 75th Anniversary based on a calendar year; not a model year. So production of the 75th Anniversary models will continue until December. That makes the ones produced between Sept and December, 2017 models. The only change, is that Sarge was discontinued for the 2017 model year so no more 75th Anniversary Wranglers will be made in that color.

2017 LED Fogs?

Are the fog lights on the 2017 LED as well? If so, does anyone have that part number?

Thank you.

but....what do they look like at night?
They look good at night. I prefer the look of JW Speakers over these. The light emitted IMO resembles HID in color. I don't have the proper tools to measure.

They had great throw at night but cutoff and other details couldn't be looked at because it was raining and has been since Wednesday. It was hard to tell exactly how they compare to aftermarket since it was reflecting off every wet surface.

Inside a building they could be clearly seen on a wall 40 feet away with all the overhead lighting on. I'm not sure if I would even know halogens were on if I tried the same thing.
