All OEM big three test vehicles will have a Michigan manufacturer plate, refereed to as "M" plate, regardless if it's a mule based off of current production or regardless if it's a brand new platform.
I would speculate that the front doors are full doors and that the rear doors are half doors, which would cause that step/ misalignment of the handles.
The way the covers are sown and designed is to distort everything. The cutout for the handle is high on the front and low on the rear. It may be sown that way for an illusion effect.
Yep. Under that wrap is probably a mess of different parts. I've been to most of the brands R&D centers in MI and the uncovered stuff is often shocking. But engineering mules aren't supposed to be pretty.
After a rock hit my windshield and cracked it I was always wondering why they didn't slant the windshield a bit. Now I know. I don't like the slant at all.
I thought that some of the little official word from FCA, was that they give up on the aluminum, claiming that it resulted in too little of gas savings for the trouble/expense.
This is FCA we're talking about. They canned the aluminum because it cost too much. :drinks: If the aluminum shell cost less to produce they'd be all over that faster than you could say the word Jeep.
Looks like a more rake on windshield, and that wheelbase is a lot longer than a JKU. I'm gonna say pickup version too.
