265/75/16 or 285/75/16

what tire size you guys think I should go with? I'm going to be getting these while the jeep is still stock height.
only reason im considering the 285's is for when I get my 2.5" lift after.
would 285's be okay on a stock one?

My vote would be for the 285's. Look better at a stock height and your all set for when you get the 2.5" lift.
The tires will fit on the factory wheels, however you will need spacers.

285

I got 285's about a month and a half before I got my lift and never had any problems on road. Minor rubbing off road, but nothing to be concerned about. I just advise not disconnecting until you get the lift.

Besides, if you get the 265 now, you will regret it once you lift.

285's for sure but just be aware you might/will rub if you're offroad with a lot of flex.

Ive run both 265 and now have 285. Not enough height difference between the two to be honest. But the 285 s cost 40 more per tire. If I were to buy again it would be 315s

Before you commit to the Pro Comps, check on availability. I had 2 different versions on my list when I was shopping for wheels/tires. The first one got discontinued; the second one was on backorder, and nobody could tell me when, or if, they'd be back in stock (I called 6 places).
