275/70s on 07 JK

Will 275/70s fit on a stock 07 JK with no lift? I'm considering Wrangler Authorities or Pepboys Definity A/Ts... suggestions welcome.

I just added 285/70/17 on MB Stryker wheels to my 2011 with no lift. They fit great and were only .6" taller than the stock 255/75/17 originals but they measure a full 9" wide. The tires are Falken Rocky Mountain ATS's from Discount Tire.

Both should work, your preference.

275/70/18:
Sidewall: 7.6"
Radius: 16.6"
Diameter: 33.2"
Circumference: 104.2"
Revs/mile: 608.0

285/65/18:
Sidewall: 7.3"
Radius: 16.3"
Diameter: 32.6"
Circumference: 102.4"
Revs/mile: 619.0

I will say the 275/70/18 is a really tall tire and will affect your gear ratio the most and will be close to requiring a lift to be assured there is no rubbing.

Good luck!

I ended up going with the Definity Dakota M/Ts 265/75/16s... So far so good... no lift no rub. Planning to add a 2'' spacer lift. Suggestions on wheels?
