285's on 17x9 wheels - need pics

I put a set of BFG 28570R17's AT's on my stock 17x7.5 rims. Now I'm wanting to go with a new set of 17x9 wheels, but I'm not ready to replace the tires yet. Can anyone share a picture or two on how this setup might look? If you have this size setup, can you please post pictures from multiple angles to help me?

Thanks

These were exactly the pictures needed. I was looking at the 17x9 sidebitersbut was worried that the tire width wouldn't look good. The width looks good. Now to come up with the funds. How do you like your sidebiters? I'm thinking about combining them with a 2.5" budget lift and keeping the 28570r17's.

can you post a few pics of your current setup with your stock wheels? I would love to see how they look, side and front angle. I like the look of the stock 17" wheels, and am thinking about those 285's. Do they rub at all, or do you have spacers?

I have only had the Sidebiters for about 3 monthes so I cant give you an opinion on how they hold up but so far I love them.

Here's what I have

Here are some pictures of the stock 17" rims with the BFG AT's (28570R17's) on them. The views from the front and rear of the JEEP were taken tonight at dusk and I don't know if they'll show you what you want. I hope this helps. They are so much better than the stock goodyear road tires that came with it.

I don't have any spacers and I've gotten no rubbing, even on sharp turns. I bought them from Discount Tire in Dallas, Texas and they stated that were an acceptable, direct replacement for my JK Sport Unlimited (stock was Goodyear 25570R17's in my case).

I run 285/70/17 on stocks and yes they did rub. Just a very little but over time they were wearing a groove in the side of the tire so I had to add wheel spacers. First pic is without wheel spacer and next is front and side with wheel spacers. I actually questioned if it was even rubbing because I really didn't hear it. i thought I may be hearing something but wasn't sure. But when the shop was putting a skid on for me they showed me were the tire was rubbing the swaybar and the groove it was wearing in the tire.

285 without wheel spacers

With wheel spacer

This is close. I have 305/65-17 BFG AT KO's on 17x9's with 4.5 inches of backspacing. They are basically the same height as a 285/70-17 (33 inches) but are 20 mm wider.

What size tires are you running in the pictures? I like the way the stick out just barely on the sides.

Thank you for this pic. I have the exact same wheels coming and size Duratracs for my winter tires and it looks great!

Any rubbing or articulation issues?

The front tires rubbed on the bumper at full lock when pulling out of a parking spot. I didn't take it off-road before I had my lift put on. But the tires would probably hit the fenders when off-roading.

Here's pictures of it after my 2.5" Rock Krawler lift http://www.wranglerforum.com/f33/my-...ue-100776.html

went to local disc.tire today to get a quote.. they said they could get Rugged ridge, but no discount. the only thing close besides procomp(which he said they could get ) was American black outlaw 17x9, and I wanted 295/70/17 - he suggested 285/70/17, with a total- tire, wheels, mount, balance, warranty, tpms -just under 2300 (4)

Likely what ever I end up with, I will not get TPMS, just leave them on factory wheels for winter, and just pickup AEV procal ( less expensive ) they wanted $55each for the TPMS..
