2dr, doors off hard top on ? pics?

Got a thing Sunday, 2 hours away by expressway... was thinking of running with the top on, doors off... just to check it out... safe to do? Create to much vacuum?

Got pics?

Absolutely safe, and fun! I do it all the time in winter down here...summer its all off! Some people complain about buffet, but I have never experienced it. Enjoy.

Btw, sorry, but no pics on this puter like that.

I'd find a way to get mirrors on it. The hardtop creates a pretty large blind spot where you will need to stick your head out of the door opening to make sure someone isn't hanging out where you can't see.

On my 2012 2-door, running with just the front hardtop panels works great. Shade without the buffeting you get with windows down & full top on.

Haven't done it without doors. Remember to toggle the rubber blocks down if you run front panels only.

Enjoy the trip.

It was just fine. I didn't ride in the back, but there wasn't any buffeting. No doors, T-panels off.

Only way to do it in Texas sun (unless you have a spider shade).
Not the best photo though...

Ran that way for a few days. If you have the freedom top, putting just the front panels on works also.

Yea, I know... I'm part Cherokee so I don't burn and prefer the openness of running clean... just this time, she and her kids are going with me... something that rarely happens, cuz she's got her own Jeep...
