3" Daystar Lift

Just added the "Daystar KJ09153BK Comfort Ride Combo Kit" last week and am really pleased with it. On sale at Amazon for $325 with free shipping, also added 1.5" wheel spacers. Rides better than I expected! One question...the rear stabilizer came with bracket extensions, but not the front. lined up once on the ground but am concerned the steering articulation may be limited when off road. Do I need new brackets or bar or do you think it will be okay?

Typically, you move your old rears to the front. They're longer.

That's what forums are for--you don't have I think of everything.

I'd be kind of surprised if the directions didn't mention it though. TeraFlex says to do it in their instructions.

The only bad thing I can say about this kit was the directions, lacking quite a bit of information and had to figure several things out. Missed this one though, oh well I saved all the old parts so no big deal. Thanks for the info, much appreciated.

I'd say yeah, you need longer ones.

Your sway bar should be parallel to the ground. With 3" of lift and stock links, I'd expect it's yanked down pretty hard. I'd also expect your coils may appear to be bowing in or out. Take a look.

I would get some JKS quick discos as a replacement. You might also be able to watch Craigslist or even this forum to find somebody who's recently installed a lift and has a set they'd part with.

Actually, the bar is level and the coils are not bowing so I think I am okay but will keep an eye on it...thanks!

You can buy rear stabilizers off eBay very reasonable I think I paid 60 - 70.
