Anybody have a picture of a Wrangler with 33's and with a 3" suspension lift.
I asked because I'm considering a 3" Suspension lift and I presently have 33's on my jeep. The 33's on the jeep now are all but brand new so I really dont want to buy new 35's right now. Local shop suggested two options.
The first option was based on and the 2nd option was
Here are the options:
A - 1.75" Spacer lift (based on me staying with 33's forever).
B - 3" suspension lift (based on getting 35's sooner than later).
So I was wondering what the jeep would look like using option "B" but keeping the 33's. Any pictures?
You may know all this, but it warrants saying FWIW: First, a 3" coil lift is going to lift more than 3", which means you're probably going to have drive shaft problems. Second, 35s are going to leave you begging to regear.
1.25 bl for now. then when your ready for 35's and a regear get a 2.5in suspension lift and what ever other parts you will need to help avoid drive line vibes if need be. In the end of it all when the time comes you would be on 35's and around 4in of lift.. Figure I throw that idea out there to ya..
IMO over 3" of lift on a 2 door is too much even with 35s. You don't need to go that large for that size tire. You can but as others have mentioned, you need to be ready for what's gonna happen to your jeep.
Now that is a sexy ride! How do you like your tires? Do they ride well on road/highway? I have been reading about everyone loving goodyear duratrac's for onroad and off performance but I like the style of these.
I have the 2.5" TeraFlex lift kit, but the 2.5" is for the JKU, so for my JK it ended up being just over 3". 33x12.5R15 ProComp Extreme Mud Terrains and 15" ProComp Series 98 RockCrawler wheels.

3" TF lift that came out closer to 3.5" on 17" MT Classic II's and Cooper Discoverer STT 's at 33x12.5.
I may go with the 35's in a couple years when I need new tires....by then I would have saved up for the regear too! unk:
