305 MTR Kevlar Tire pressure

I know I have to do a chalk test, but till then..........what should I bring down the 305/70/16 from the 40 psi DT put in there

I tried to search but got other sizes pressures for this tire.

I don't use that size. But I would probably start out in the mid to low 30s. Maybe 32. Go up or down from there.
Being they are new tires a Chalk test would be your best bet.

When I got my 37s dt set those at 40 as well.
Mine are D load I run at 28.

Hope this helps.

I have 305/70/16's as well and run 32 psi, DTD delivered them to me like that and after experimenting with tire pressure 32 psi seems to be the most comfortable ride, not too soft and not too hard.

32 PSI is way too high. I run my 35" MTRs at 24 PSI on the highway. With 305s I would use 26-28 PSI max.

I ran at 26-28 PSI for a while and my mpg was terrible..way too soft for daily driving.
