31 PSI and loud noise coming when turning rounds

I dropped the tires pressure from 35 psi to 31, got better ride but noticed a the tires making a noise when I do turn arounds.. Even at low speed.

I got 245/75/17 silent armor

Is this noise related to low tire pressure? Shall I increase it a bit?

Its a JK

Might be. May be rolling on you slightly.

Air back to 35 just to see if it stops. If it does drop it down to 32 and go from there.

That's a little low for that size I would think. Are they a E load tire ?

It is E rated, I set it today to 33PSI, the ride is less comfortable but I still have that noise coming up.. Note that I have steal bumper, winch, armo for the engine, gear and the danas..if this has any relation.. The jeep is heavy.

are your tires rubbing the air dam? although doesn't seem likely with that size tire

This. Sounds like the tire is slightly rolling.

If the toe is off would it have an effect on this?

It *might* but if would have to be off a decent amount to really make serious noise (unless it's toe out).

However, a 245/17 tire at 31psi isn't "low." That's perfectly normal tire pressure. My tires (33x12.50x15 Duratracs) do make a very slight noise when full lock slow turning (ie a uturn) but nothing I would call "loud."

The OP should check his sidewalls and see if there is a "roll" mark (a shiny-er ring) around the tire which would indicate rolling.

It shouldn't be making any noise at speed (Id say 15mph+) so if the noise is still there (don't confuse with tire roar) then the issue lies elsewhere.

Bad toe would be noticeable at all speeds, seriously premature tire wear, weird steering feel, etc.

The OP did say that the ride got come compliant, so the tires obviously softened up. Remember, it's a Jeep, some things are noisier on a Jeep than a normal vehicle.
