Stock ride height with 33" tires (Nitto Trail Grappler M/T 285/70); 17x9 KMC Crank wheels.

]

The tires rubbed a very tiny bit on the front air dam when tires were turned to the max. I trimmed approximately 2 inches off that air dam to clear the sidewall tread. I get compliments all of the time. Hope you all like it as well.

Do you have a 2.5" lift on this as well? This rim and tire combo is exactly what I was looking for.

Understood. I'm not normally one to go with what most people are doing. Which explains why I didn't go with the MB72s and Duratracs. But when it comes to silver, nothing looks as good as black wheels.

Lol. you know, 33's would have the best look for a max 2.5" lift. Any lift higher would just look weird. It is like having a 2.5" lift with the stock 32's on a JK(Glad my 33's are coming in today) that has been eating at me since I got my JKU. From your pic, it looks like you have 3.5" or higher.. so your minimum tire size should be 35's. It's like telling Michael Jordan to wear Charles Barkley's shoes LOL

New photos....give some people an idea of what the BW flats with a 3" lift and 33's looks like before I get my 35's mounted next week! The 33's look like doughnuts now!

My order from Discount Tire Direct came in a whole week early so I got the new shoes on last night (33x12.5x15 Duratracs on 15 inch Black Rock Viper Matte Black/Tungsten). Unfortunately, I'm getting a very noisy wahp-wahp-wahp sound that is quite noticeable under 30 MPH. Called DTD late last night and Bruce told me it may be a balancing issue and to go have my local shop check all five tires. Will do that Monday but for now, Here is my 2012 BFG JKUR setup now:

Great thread. I definitely want 33's. Just need to narrow down what I want to do. Leveling kit or 2" lift?
