Yeah 18s or 19s if you can find 19s will work. You can clear 33s with no lift but 2inches will be great just to make sure you get no rubbing.

I have 38's on my Jeep - bought it already lifted/modded, etc... I have 16 inch rims. The reason, the price of 38' tires is approximately $150 - $250 more $ per tire when going from 16 to 17 in rim. (based on brand)

That rang pretty loud in my head - stuck with 16's.

It's the price of the tires that gets ya when you start increasing your wheel size. I personally never understood this, it's not like there's necessarily more rubber there.

I went with a 3" TeraFlex budget boost with 33"x12.5 Mickey Thompson MTZ's on a 17 inch rim. It came out really nice. The tires are more expensive with the bigger rim. Think about the long term, tires are expensive. Also think about the fifth tire and how much weight you're going to be adding to the back door. FYI the 33x12.50 fits perfectly on the door and on the truck with a 4.5 backspacing, no rub in the front.

I have the setup you are looking at with factory Sahara rims. It looks and works great.

As far as I know, they don't make 33's for 19's.

...and if they did, chances are Tires for 20's would be Cheaper than for 19's.

Here is a picture of my 33's on 18's. I just upgraded to 35's and I went with 18's again. Wheel size isnt going to hurt your offroad capability its just going to cost a little more.

2 inch lift will work fine with 33's especially if you go with aftermarket rims that have less backspacing.

33.1" Tall Tires on 17" Wheels, Stock Suspension.

I was gonna go with 18's as well...but then I Saw the Weight of the Tire. Just the 17"/33" Setup I got now is over 100lbs/ea
