This has convinced me to go 33s (do not want to regear for a while). I must say it looks fantastic though...very nice.

Sorry to hi jack but if I have 3.73 rear and put 35x12.5x15's that I just bought on my new 2012 jk unlimited rubicon with auto, am I going to have a problem? By the way, those KM2's and the vipers are looking sweet.

I'd say you would. I live in Colorado so I would be miserable without a regear. The 3.73 would be worse that the 4.10 (which I have). 33s will work just fine though- I'll do that soon. 35s and up need a regear. When I do regear, I'll do 35s and 4.56.

Thanks bud

You should be ok with your setup. Looks like about 2000-2100 rpms at 70 which is the same as mine (4.10/3/8/6speed)not ideal but doable. Plus, the km2 is one of the lighter 35's which helps.

Forgot to add I have a 2012. I am running into a 50-50 thing where half the guys say it will work and the other half say to stick with 33s. Maybe I'll just look for 34s.

The Vipers are my #1 or #2 choice, depending on the day.

Depend a lot on location and type of driving.
I am mostly city with very little highway. Pretty much put along in the slow lane anyways. She will move if blast the Rpms over 5k lol.
I don't do that often though haha

Pic not showing

The Sidebiter is one hot wheel
One of my favorites but their 15" bolt pattern does not work on a Jk.

Valley might but it's a PIA for me.

First shop I tried. The kid doesn't work there no more.
Most won't if you did not buy the tires from them.
Others wont touch 35's

Really? It seems like they would want to have the business but then again I think you'd be more likely to get your tires balanced at a place that you bought from. This is why I always buy from DT. They balance for free for life and also rotate your tires any time for free for life. Lord knows I've certainly gotten my moneys worth from the free balancing.

Weird though still because I know 35s are harder to balance properly but I've never thought them to be like the worst things out there to do this with.

Go to your local ford dealer. The Raptors are stock with 35's.

Ya..... Most these places say 35's are "too big"

I have a couple ideas but not going to be today or tomorrow.

You think a ford place will mount a tire bought from someone else ? That's the problem.

Do you have a DT local? They'll mount 35s no problem. It cost about $20 per tire to mount and balance.

There a garage. Make an appointment for installation of carry in tires. You think they would want the buisiness

Any jeep dealer will mount/balance the tires too. They do 35s all day long on the ones in the lot.

They just have to have a lug adapter. Any balancer will work.

Valley used Maple tire to balance my tires a few weeks ago.
"I hope you bought new tires" that's what he said to me lol

It's a go tomorrow after work
