Some shops won't do it because the stock wheel is only like 7.5" wide. But many do it. "Poor mans bead lock"

Thanks for the response kjeeper. The shop I was at today seemed confident that it would work. I am skeptical hence the question. I thinking I will just get a new set of rims to go with the 35s

I run 35"s with stock rims on my 13 JKUR and no issues what so ever. I've had it for over a year now. Run the psi at 28-26

Based on the proportions they look like 35s unless those are 15" rims.

There are literally dozens of owners running 12x35 or equivalent tires on 7.5" stock rims including the 18" Sahara's which give you a shorter sidewall to work with. Shops that sell you tires will usually mount them but it's a not a guarantee unless you tell them in advance. I had to have a long discussion with the manager about the spacers but had no problem with the tires at one of the national chains which are usually more selective.

Here are some pictures. Like I said I have no issues what so ever with the set up.

If you look at some if the mopar Easter jeeps they run some with the mopar winter steel rims and they are the same with with 35" tires. You'll be fine

Ps I do have spidertrax 1.75 spacers too. And I had to trim the plastic on the front bumper shroud when under full steering lock. Easy task

35's on stock 17" Rims. 2.5" lift and I did have to trim the front air dam and install 1.5" spacers..had some rubbing on the front sway bar and lower control arms while turning.
