4 door jk, aftermarket subwoofers? pics?

I have a 4 door jk and ive added a complete jl system using two 8w3's one in factory location glassed and sealed and the other under the rear seat also sealed (with of course others speakers and amp, theyre just not part of my question here) but its just less than I want...

wondering what others have done WITHOUT sacrificing storage space in the back (do a lot of camping etc and dont want a big box back there, and I dont want something I would have to remove to go camping as road trips without full tunes suck).

Suggestions AND PICS! greatly appreciated.

Problem is you don't start out with a lot of room to begin with so anything you add will take up precious space. There's very few aftermarket options, anything else will be total custom but the space issue would be the same.

Im thinking maybe one dual voicecoil high end 12 where the factory box is (replacing it) may do the trick...a local shop thinks they can do 2 along that wall, but I doubt it.

There is a guy on another forum that modified the factory inclosure to fit a 10" sub. Looked real good.

Lynskey also has done some great things in the I.C.E. department on his Jeep. He has my favorite aftermarket sub mod so far. It's something I want to do on mine eventually.

There's a member who has done a really nice install of twin 8" subs in customer enclosures sitting above and just forward of his wheel wells, he has a two door JK but it might work similarly in a JKU.

The reality is that subwoofers need depth to be effective, so you're likely to lose some space unless you've very creative.

I think I found the one you mention...looks good, but in the 4 door theres not enough room in the same spot...saw another one for two down firing 10's under the rear seat, but then of course no folding the seats down.
