4 door soft top issue

First install this morning (by me...prior owner used it)

Everything is good except the small spot between the front and rear passenger doors....right above the b pillar. I can't get the plastic flange to stay in so the doors can seal correctly....there is a big gap. I have tried with and without front latches installed....its almost like the bow is sitting a bit too high. I have the little plastic cradles resting where they would seem to go (on the other bow)

Any suggestions or is it just the way it is?

My bow on the passenger side sits high, I have to "beat" it down to get it into place or I have the same problem

far as I can tell, if the bow is seated properly it can't go any lower.

My bow clips have a half round concave shape that clips into the side horizontal bars. I usually seat them by pulling in slightly on the bow and out slightly on the horizontal side bar. Once seated the sides tuck in easily. There is no tuck in right at the pillar. Mine never leaked on either of my 08s. I kept the soft top going from my first 08 to my second when Chrysler bought the first one back. It fit on the second 08 the same as the first one.

I can't see anything obvious from the pic,, Did you latch the front down before you tucked the sides in? Sometimes that makes it too tight for a proper fit.

Isnt that the peice that was meant to be a sort-of pull tab to help you unseat the rest of the channel? If so, then it isnt meant to tuck into anywhere.
Sorry, i cant tell much from the pics.
