4 door soft top through Mike's carwash

Just ran by brand new 2012 Unlimited 4 door soft top through Mikes.

Got some small amount of water in the back around the tire jack. Felt like the roof was going to come off.

Anything I should be concerned about? Should I not use Mikes? Should I give them special instructions? Will their clear coat hurt my top/soft windows?

Thoughts?

Thanks - new to the forum, new to Jeeps.

It 's really not good for a soft top if you want to keep it nice for any length of time. The chemicals are definitely not good for the windows.

I'll say Mikes is pretty good about soft tops. I asked the manager when I went through one day and he said that they automatically turn down some of the blowers or something when you go through to keep it from coming off or caving in, but he also said that if water is getting in to ask for the "Back end washer off" which should help. After that I've had little problems. I usually get the choice and have gotten clear coat a number of times and my top is still in good shape. To me it still beats washing it in a bay in Indiana weather!

Thanks man. As an Indiana resident, I agree! I'll ask them to turn off the back end washer and see what happens.
