I am aware that it is near impossible to run a 6 inch lift with stock driveshafts but If I bought an exhaust spacer kit could I run stock drive shafts with the lift
In another thread you posted about 4" lift....now you want 6"??? This aint no diesel truck my friend. 2.5" lift can fit 35-37s.
Also, its not the exhaust causing your issues at that point. You have maxed out the Rzeppa joint and slip joint. It will be a ticking time bomb. You need to replace it no question.
Exhaust spacers keep the ds off the exhaust during flex. The main concern with 5-6" lifts is the angles. The stock shafts cant handle it, aftermarket shafts require precise pinion angles. If you give up caster up front the jeep will handle poorly.
Theres really no point in running a lift that high on a JK, but if you do i highly recommend pinion corrected axles.

This. A pinion corrected axle means new aftermarket complete axles. It is going to become quite expensive. What size tires do you plan to run that you are considering that much lift?
On a JKU a stock front shaft will not fit even with the spacer. You can use the stock rear shaft however.
Depending on how much lift the kit actually gets, you may not even be able to run an aftermarket shaft without a spacer. I have the RK 5.5 which netted about 6.5 inches of lift. No possible way to fit stock shaft with a spacer. Aftermarket shafts wouldn't fit without a spacer either so I had to do both.
It really sounds like you are trying to build a monster rig on a dime. It doesn't work. I'm not going to rag on big rigs because I build them myself. I can't give a shit about the people on here that all say 2.5 inch lift and 35s or it's the end of the world. However, you need to realize to build a big rig is costs. It costs a lot. You are looking at a 20k project on top of the price of the jeep. Fair warning.
I agree with your point about nothing bigger than 2.5".
I think that's just approaching the threshold of "spend the money on a good lift and keep it riding well on pavement" vs "sink every penny you make into a rig that may be great at off-road but will probably not be a good choice for a daily diver".
Sure, you can run a 6" lift and probably 40" tires...
It costs about $25,000.
