Re-gearing can be a very variable deal, depending on make of gears, etc.
If you are going to think about sleeves and gussets, it would be the time to do that, also; to save labor costs of tearing down the diff. ( You gotta tear down the diff anyway to re-gear, so just plan to do it once!)
Check with reputable 4X4 shops in your area to get estimates. Make sure they have people that are experienced at setting up the diff's. Also if you were to want to upgrade to like ARB air lockers, now would be the time to do it. This would add close to a couple grand to the cost. But that I don't think is neccesary, as Chris at Jeep-add-ons stated; the internals on your Rubi edition diff are good.
I am going out tomorrow and hit the trails, will try to get some pic's of mine when it is all flexed out. Just for fun, yesterday I drove one front wheel up on a 3 foot high rock and all others were on the ground, and nothing was rubbing. Hope this helps.
Good Luck

Happy Jeeping

Yes, both have an online store.

EAD Offroad: 07-12 Wrangler JK
Krawl OffRoad: Krawl Off-Road

I just bought 2 things off Jason from Krawl and neither was on the site. I hear he is working on a new site, or adding to the current one, just hasn't had time to do it all.

Reading all of this hurts. I could use the money I get from selling my current mods off my car towards a down payment like a responsible adult - or I can just use the money for mods. Eh, responsibility is overrated. Ive never been smart, why start now? Onward ho! But really, OP, are you shooting for being a tank offroad or is it the look your going for?
