Red face 700mile trip

Yesterday i took a 7oo mile round trip with my 12 rubi.I have 33 inch duratracks on her with 410 gears with the auto trans.I drove through rain, snow, sleet, and sun all in the same day and averaged 17.5 miles per gallon. There was almost no wind so that was not a factor..I wonder how the factory gets as stated 30 miles per gallon highway.lol. I used my cruise sontrol almost all the way with a cruising speed of 65 miles per hour.I love the jeep and it worked flawlessly all day..

Factory sticker says 17 city & 21 highway & that'll be rated for the most fuel efficient set up also... Like a sport with 3.21 gears. They don't change the stickers for differences like extra weight or lower gears with a Rubi.

OP is from Canada. Maybe the OP meant KPG instead of MPG?

Doubtful. 17.5 KPG is about 11 MPG so not likely to be that either. I thought it could've been that too till a calculated it

Here are some MPG stats from a recent 3 day 820 mile trip:
- Gallons of fuel burned: 55.
- Cost of gas: $204
- Cost of gas per mile: about 25 cents.
- Average MPG: I calculated 14.7 while my Jeep's Eco estimator says 16.2 MPG. Either way it really sucks.
- Average speed: 25 mph
- Total ascent: 50,000' feet

After getting some replys i went down in the garage and dug out my window sticker again to verify and YES it states 12.6 l per 100klms or 22 mpg city, and 9.5litres per 100klms,or 30 miles per gallon highway.I am from canada but this is on my window sticker of my 12 rubicon.I know 30 mpg is crazy ,,thats why i stated in whose world...just a verification.

Actually the conversion would be 18.6 MPG city & 24.75 MPG highway. Still too high for the highway rating but not quite as ridiculous

Was wondering the same thing. even if you go to jeep.ca and hover your mouse over wrangler it says 30mpg highway , 22mpg city. but you do any research and it says 18 city and 22 highway or something along the lines of that. why would the jeep website say 30mpg just seems a little off...
