70th Anniversary Edition

Maybe some of you already know this, maybe some of you don't.

Call of Duty Wrangler is available for order today-10/13

Some of you have asked,

70th Anniversary Edition will be available for order 11/11/10. Jeep is doing it for the Wrangler, GC, Liberty and Compass/Patriot

Sounds like the Anniversary model will be a sticker package.

Do you have any details on either model?

well since it hasn't been built and you can't order one quite yet how would there be any pics? I'm sure something will pop up. I'll post some if I see them.

I saw the COD Jeep giveaway in Maxim magazine. Can't find the photo online but Maxim is blocked at work. You might check there to find a picture of the Jeep.

In not so many words, it's oh-some! How cool would it be to get this for yourself, huh? The description card says it's got Black Ops Exteriror Graphics, Black MOPAR Tail Lamp Gaurds, Black MOPAR Fuel Filler Door, Matte Black Mood Decal. Ring it up if you've got the cash! Or you can just join GameStop's Surprize Attack Sweepstakes.

Your first look at the CoD: Black Ops-inspired Jeep Wrangler

Basically a few stupid mopar parts and a couple stickers. I like that it's a Rubicon package, that's cool. Other then that, I'm glad I didn't bother waiting.. And if the 2011 Anniversary is Sport (X) package, it's probably even less of a deal. I thought that all the 2011's were "Anniversary editions", hence the oh-sh1t bar having "Jeep Since 1941" on them.

Yeah, that's what I heard from some Chrysler guys I know -- basically a "Mountain" edition with a military theme logo on the seats instead.

We didn't wait either. Ordered a 2011 JKU Sport in Detonator Yellow that should be in next week!

My guess on the 70th is a Sport package with Rubi wheels, tires, some stickers and "performance suspension". Kinda like the islander or mountain

If you can preorder the Black Ops edition and there are no pics of them, are people buying them without seeing them? Or will a dealer be able to get pics and details for you?

I'll just wait for the knock off "Black-ops" decals to come available on ebay. And for $1.50 I can tell everyone I have the only 2010 model "Black-ops" in existance.

The BlackOps decal looks to be just a stylized variation of the Special Forces skull [not actually used by US Military].

It's back on the calendar for this month, but no other info yet. Hopefully I will see something in the next couple of weeks.

There are numerous Black Ops Wranglers at my jeep dealer near Mahwah NJ They look classy, kind of like a blacked mountain edition, stickers are small like a sahara sticker on the sides.

Actually it's a blacked out Rubicon.
