730n media center

I'm having trouble getting my address book from my iPhone 4S to transfer over to the Address Book in the HDD, therefore I am unable to use the voice dial as i had really hoped to. Only about 10-20% of my contacts are transfering over. Does anyone know how to fix this??
Thanks for the help.

I have a Iphone 4 and didn't do anything but pair it with the Jeep. I didn't know voice dialing was an option at all until I recieved a call and it announced who the caller was. After the call ended. I asked the system to call another person in the contact list on the phone and it did!

It appears the media center accesses your contact list on the iphone rather than upload it.

I thought it transferred the address book automatically. I have a base 130 unit and didn't have to transfer anything manually. I just paired the phone and I was able to call people using VR immediately. Have you tried calling people using the VR?

Make sure you have the latest firmware my iphone 4 contact list did not sync with the 730 until I upgraded the firmware using the DVD I got from chrysler.

There is a new FW update for the 730N. I just had mine updated at the dealership and it solved a few of the problems I was having and added a feature or two.

My radio was delivered with 2.116 and was updated to 2.120. If you need to give the dealership a reason, just tell them that the NAV system keeps forgetting where "Home" is. This is one of the issues that was fixed with this update.

Another question regarding the 730. Will this system allow text msgs to pop up on the monitor?

When I use the VR it only picks up on a few of the contacts. Others are completely left out.
