Does anyone know where I can buy one? I bought a 2016 Hard Rock in December 2015 and it didn't come with an anniversary badge (not sure if they actually are supposed to or not).
Thanks for the Mopar p/n. When I search under that, only Willy's and Compass come up. Do you know if there will be badges specifically for the Rubicon or Rubicon Hard Rock? Or are they one in the same?
Well the badge itself doesn't say 75th anniversary edition, it just says: 1941 / Seventy Five Years.
This would technically apply to the 2015 and 2016 models, as 2015 was the 75th year of Jeep and any Jeep produced as of either September 2015 or March 2016 would be once the Jeep is 75.x years old.
To me it would be obvious to a purist that the it's not a Special Edition, and to the others it's not really claiming anything other than "Jeep since 1941" that is on the grab-bar.
IMO putting the emblem on isn't like putting a Rubicon decal on, etc. but others are bound to feel differently, especially those buying the actual 75th Anniversary Special Editions.
Thanks guys for your comments. I was a bit thrown back by the one comment that "There are no badges meant for any others, including any Rubicon or Hard Rocks, attempting to falsely pose as a 75th Anniversary special edition."
I paid a lot of money for my 2016 because of it being within the 75th anniversary year and that I believe it's the last year Jeep will make the convertible model with its iconic shape. I had read that in a few places.
The badges do not specify that it's a Special Edition, just that it's celebrating 75 years.
If you want to get that badge and put it on YOUR jeep then go ahead and do it, unless they are making the payments for you
Don't listen to the silly posers comments. If you are a poser for having that badge, then lots of jeep owners that never take their fancy jeeps with locking differentials to do any real "wheeling" are posers too...
It's your jeep, do what makes you happy!!!
I have a set of 25th anniversary Cummins badges on my truck. Ram didn't make an anniversary truck, a big aftermarket diesel parts company came up with the package for the 2014 model (25th anniversary)
So, from one poser to another... "Enjoy it"

IMO, if FCA cared so much about badging, they wouldn't have recycled the "X' classification across 3 different platforms & years (Sport, Rubicon, Sahara).
Considering that the Hard Rock is actually more capable / better equipped than the 75th Anniversary, except for the badge and some colour accent choices one might prefer.
If anything it's outwardly expressing to be something lesser than it is not more than it is, as such it would be the opposite of being a poser, more like a slice of humble pie on the side to recognize the heritage of the brand/model.
Anyone else notice that the location of the Badge changed from the Auto Show model to the Shipping model?
The Auto Show one had the emblem halfway between the Wrangler decal and the Trail Rated badge, the actual vehicle and the on on Jeep.com has the emblem just an inch or two above the Wrangler decal.
I got one as a late birthday present 2 weeks ago from a friend who works at a dealership out East. I put mine under the Wrangler decal, as the Maple Leaf 7-slot grill decal occupies the space above it. The badge is unassuming and really doesn't pretend to be anything it isn't, especially since it's on a Baja Jeep.
You wouldn't even notice it unless you knew what you were looking for or had it pointed out to you.
I got a 75th Anniversary brochure at the Houston Auto Show, and it appears to have the same badge on it as the vehicles.
It's made of solid metal, and is pretty heavy.
Anyone know what the Mopar part number for the 71st Anniversary badge is?
I need one for my 12' JK Sport.
Thanks in advance!
Oh, and my JK is Trail Rated. It has a badge that says so.
I put 'em on the sides of my 2016 Hard Rock. I saved for almost 4 years in anticipation of purchasing a 75th Anniversary Edition when it was released. Unfortunately after seeing the photos of it online and reading about the colors available (no red)I decided to buy the Hard Rock Edition. (I also liked the Red Rock Edition being shown at the shows but not available for sale to the masses, and as my luck would have it my name was chosen to be able to buy 1 of the 50 being offered for sale from Jeep about 2 weeks after I had purchased my 2-door Hard Rock.). So I have now modified mine to honor both of the editions I liked, so I guess you could call it a Hardredrock 75 Edition!
If you purchased a 2016 Jeep, why is it an issue to have the 75th badge? I personally looked at the "75th Edition" Jeep, and I did not like it. I purchased a JKU Sport instead, and I want the badges on mine! I don't believe I am being a "poser," or whatever else anyone who is opposed to this wants to call us, I don't see what the problem is....
do what you want.. I like the emblem...put it on... its your jeep..
