A few minor upgrades to the Jeep this weekend

I did a few minor things to my Jeep yesterday.

Because of having the wrong size bearings we couldn't do the rear gears (we'll do that next weekend) but we did do the front gears. I did a writeup here: Installing Gears In My 2012 JK

Nice write up, and you're quite lucky the OE shims worked for you, especially with a different carrier. Saved a considerable amount of time!

You'll love the 4.56 gears. It's what I put on my '12 auto with 35' MTR-Ks.

Yeah, getting lucky with the bearings was about the only thing that went right the first time on that install.

I just wish I could have done the rear so I could actually try out the new gears. Having non-matching gears in the axle means no 4WD until I get the rear done. But that will be next weekend.
