You and your husband and the Jeeps are an inspiration to my girlfriend and I. She just got her first Jeep this month, and one day toward the end of my time in the Marine Corps, I plan to get one of my own. By then, her's will probably be built up a little bit and I'll get to play catch-up with mine. We've always wheeled together in my Chevy pickup, but having our own Jeeps to build/wheel together, like you guys, will be a whole new side of it.

Awesome pictures and video, too. I dig the Rust-Oleum'd muffler and will probably end up doing that to her Jeep soon.

It's a lot of fun being able to do it together. It gets competitive though, I'm warning you! my husband is sort of the one playing catch up because he doesn't want to spend any more money on his since he leaves for Afghanistan again soon, but when he comes back his jeep will probably be way better than mine! :P

I've reached a point of indecision...

I took my safari straps off since I am swapping out for the extended cage that goes all the way to the windshield, and decided to stick my back seat back in. I think I kind of like having it, so my indecision rests on the spare tire...

I am not sure if I want to leave the seats in and run a rear bumper/tire carrier (the PSC Brawlerlite II), or take the seat out permanently and run the spare flat in the bed. I feel like I will regret putting all that weight on the back when I go wheeling, but the seats are super convenient!

1st world Jeep problems...

Well I've decided on a permanent in-jeep location for my spare. No more stock spare carrier for me! And now I will have more money for other mods since I will be buying just the plain PSC Brawlerlite II rear bumper, and not the tire carrier version.

(If you are wondering where my safari straps went, I upgraded to the extended cage! Will be here Wednesday!)

I'll be ordering my tramp stamp/license plate relocation on Monday. Hopefully will be here by Thursday, since we have a big Wheelers for the Wounded event this coming weekend!

Nice. I been wanting to do the same to mine but need to figure out what to do with the license plate. My stock LP mount busted on a tree so I choped it up and made it to mount on my spare tire. Gotta decide if I want to keep it centered or find another factory LP mount.

My rear seat is long gone, so I removed the rear seatbelts. Just 3 bolts if I remember right. Mine wouldnt stop flapping no matter what I tried, so they're in storage now! Dont know if you have the same issue, something to think about if you dont plan to use the rear seat for people anytime soon. They arent hard to reinstall either though.

Hm, I should probably just take mine out too! I was just cinching them down under the safari straps but I could definitely roll without them.

The tramp stamp will be my license plate relocation. I want to get that thing off of the corner ASAP after nearly pealing the plastic mount off a couple of times on the trail!

Got the extended safari straps on today, with the spider web shade installed on top. I'm REALLY happy with the combo. The two products go together great!

Tramp stamp installed! Was a bit of a project but its done! Had to cut a small chunk out to continue using my gate mount CB mount without rerouting everything.

Looks Great! I've been debating on whether to put the Spare in the Jeep or keep it on the back. Every time I see the tramp stamp, it just looks so clean! Again, the Jeep is looking great!

P.S. Thanks, I have been wondering about using the spiderwebshade along with the safari straps and now I know!!!

I had wondered about it too but figured I would make it work regardless

The tramp stamp set up will look more clean when I get a REAL bumper back there too!

How are you liking the PS Hood Louver inlet? Does it make a difference with the heat escaping? I've been hovering over the "purchase" button for a few days on the PS site... My jeep is all black, in Texas as well. I really am paranoid about the heat and want some sort of solution.

Oh, and apparently, Happy Birthday (i'm quick like that!)

Haha thanks! It's actually not for a couple weeks but I couldn't wait to place the orders...

As for the louver, its AWESOME. It really does make a difference. I haven't heard my fan kick on while on the trail since I've had it. You can literally see the heat escaping through the vents. I also took off the silly engine cover. Jeep is definitely a lot cooler now. I am really pleased with it.

Excellent image! Great looking ride! Glad to see another who color-matched their logo too. Curious, where did you find the color-matched winch line you ordered? And finally, an early Happy Birthday to you!

Thank you! I had looked all over for a green winch line and Olympus Offroad just started taking preorders so I jumped on it. They currently have red, blue, and yellow I think.

Yep, my seat belts are long gone too! Thinkin about rhino-lining the inside. We just bought some D-rings at Wal-Mart and clipped them to the front seat-belts. When the top and/or doors are off, all you have to do is clip them onto the door latch in whatever way you please to silence them! Worked for the back ones too before they were removed.

OR-Fab rock doors on! There were a bit of a pain in the ass to install (the bolts had to be hammered through the hinges, ZERO clearance!) but man are they sweet!
