a-pillar options

I was looking at putting rigid leds on my a-pillar. I was thinking about floods casue I have a lot of woods by me but part of me say to get spots. I have vison x led lights in my bumper that go out far. What do you guys think?

Floods will do nothing but light up your Hood if mounted at windshield.. swap your spots to windshield and floods on bumper

It depends on how you use them... If you have them straight ahead you do not want floods as they do bounce a lot of light off the hood. In reality so do driving lights LOL I have floods mounted there but I point them forward and out to the side a little. I used them for road searches but they do a great job of adding to the forward facing light by lighting up the side. Guess it just depends on the actual use.

What I am looking for is to mount them on my a pillar foward but I am looking for more light over a wider area then but I still do want some light down the trail.

I have Dually floods on pillars. Should have got spots. Take it from me, you need spots on the pillars.

I have rigid spots on my a pillars. They work very well. I'm happy with the spot lights and I think floods would just light up the hood like others have said. Rigid makes some great lights. Great quality, great customer service and they're assembled in the US.
